So 3 teamer...

Phi: #3
PHI: #8, #10
get two bites at the lotto apple
(at #8 IMO you get the last of the better prospects + at 10 you get either Maluach/CMB/Essengue)

Hou: #10
HOU: #19, #26, future Philly 1st via BRK
move down + future assets

Bky: #8, #19, #26, future 1st
BKY: #3
Move up for their star

If I'm Philly, I'd rather have that future Philly 1st back from Brooklyn than #10. But, generally okay. That future pick is protected

With 8th and 10th, possibly bring the Nipple-Maluach duo. 3 dukies off the bench.

Maxey/McCain
Grimes/Nipple
George/Justin Edwards
Yabusele/Oubre
Embiid/Maluach

This is the only kind of deal I would entertain from the Sixers' standpoint - more '25 picks and/or future picks. I have zero interest in any win-now pieces or even solid role player types. We aren't seriously competing in '25-'26 or '26-'27, so the play is to focus on acquiring assets and build this thing right finally while moving off George and all the expiring vets and dealing with the Embiid situation as we go.

Houston is going to want something more tangible IMO.

In 2019, the Hawks sent 8, 17, 35, and a future 1st for 4.

I would do 3 for 8, 19, 27, and 2028 1st returned.

I would also do Drummond, Oubre, and 3 for Jabari Smith Jr. and 10.

Jalen Green feels like a future Brooklyn Net to me as well. Even with CamT there.

Could probably combine that all into one big trade somehow.

Jalen Green, Jabari Smith, and #10 for Lauri?

And then we send #3, Oubre, and Drummond for #10 and Jabari?

Sure they would! That way there's less chance of making a mistake with the pick according to 76ciology!!!

ah, that is helpful. would you prefer to keep 19,27,1st to use, or try to package to move up this year? is 19/27/1st enough for 10?

I love it, but I can't imagine that POR would do it, and certainly can't see BKN absorbing George.

Seems to me POR gets a better player, saves around 15M, and gets an extra 1st round pick just to move back 8 spots when they are currently in the process of selling the team. Don't see why they wouldn't do it.

BKN likely wants a guy to go with Giannis they can get just for money. The level of PG washedness vs. him just not giving two ***** during a dumpster fire season is extremely debatable. I lean toward the latter.

Both are good points, and the money POR would save is definitely a factor. Hard to imagine Giannis seeing George as a viable partner at this point, but NY is reportedly one of his desired destinations, so ...........

Mike on the RTRS pod gets sad whenever it's brought up that we'd have to trade Embiid + #3 for Giannis. I think it has to be on the table, sadly. Giannis's buddy, Brook, would probably come for the vet min. What more would you add to Embiid + #3 (if anything) for that swap?

Maxey/McCain/Butler
Grimes/Edwards/Gordon
George/Oubre/Council
Giannis/(TMLE)/(#35)
Lopez/Bona/Drummond

If you can get Giannis for Embiid and 3, you do it. The Bucks will ask for something absurd, though, so it’s not even worth thinking about.

This is why my mind keeps coming back to Zion.

Giannis will likely cost too much/we’ll have nothing left after the trade.

We missed out on Flagg and Harpe. No one at #3 is seemingly a franchise player.

We’ve been riding the Embiid train and know how it ends.

I don’t see any other potential MVP-caliber options this summer.
