Why aren't we beating the sh*t out of him is a good question

I think two things are true regarding Jalen:

1) He absolutely is a superstar player that has done beyond his fair share of heavy lifting. I have zero issues there.

2) I think if we're being honest: his attention to detail defensively has been seriously lacking, and I think he needs to do a better, more conscious job of making everyone around him better. The fact that he and Karl have zero connection or chemistry offensively to the point where we're back to "my turn, your turn" offense is an area that I think needs to be cleaned up. It's been 90+ games and these guys can't even run a PnR/PnP. They should be an unstoppable combination. Why aren't they is my question.

If we want to get over this hump, and I believe as a team/organization we can, these things need to be discussed so that solutions can be figured out.

If Denver can win a title with two poor defenders at PG and C, there is way around this. But right now, i don't know the answer.

Either way, Jalen slander is garbage.

Jalen criticism is fair. We need to get better. This is apart of that process.

Two things can be true, but one of them can be exponentially truer than the other

This is what's really disappointing

We've seen Naismith toss Brunson, Mathieu run over shamet, Hali clown us.... should be us. They've been bullying us and I just can't abide that sht.

I need to see Jrue Wright get in there and fck someone up. We have a standard to uphold and its not being met.

Go out but just not sad.

you can't be a true ironman if you're scared of contact on both sides. that's all i'll say about that, cause i'm rooting for him to bring a tough performance tonight. this team is sitting around waiting for their captain to yell at them. i hope he pumps them up. win or lose i just need to see them leave it all out on the floor

Mikal & OG can't really shoot it and can't really jump. They both provide kind of the appearance of being able to do both but not really. They are long. It's not a good combo to be short in both areas.

You can add in that they're not strong inside.

I think most teams would've spoken out about the way the game is being called to help protect their star player. You can see Brunson's taking a beating at least use one postgame to address it, we just keep taking it up the

We tried to get him going at times to make hali work but his middy has been off this series.

It is what it is and we'll have a whole summer to bitch about each players flaws but for now we're going to a fight. And im not here for anything other than that.

I dont want to see any dejection or quit in this team. I want them to be physical and aggressive. No going out like bitches tonight.

Exactly if someone takes SGA to the deck I guarantee the team is rushing in and there's going to be stoppage.

I would trade him honestly because he's not gonna be worth a max and he definitely is more worried about not absorbing hard contact than winning. He doesn't wanna get hit and I'm disappointed in him tbh. Even if his jumper wasn't hitting, if his defensive effort and aggression near the basket were consistent I would have no issue with him, but they aren't.

Mikal made a business decision this season in my opinion
