Yes. We know that he can consistently create the shot on the left block out of the dribble drive, but that's a 45-47% shot with almost no foul draw. Scottie on-ball isn't super tenable for us.
If Barnes is established a guy who only takes corner 3’s why are we giving him any pnr possessions?

I get your angle is we have to work with that we’ve got (and I agree with it) but some of these outcomes make things looks a little bleak. It sucks that we’re at the point where we are forced to try and fit in Barnes game at the cost of the overall team. I guess it’s a necessary evil or else we’re just stuck with a bad contract.
It IS bleak. He's a bad scorer, so we should be mitigating that problem by minimizing his usage and looking for plays where he doesn't need to dribble much, or at all. We are stuck with his contract for now, but we should be looking at ways to leverage his demonstrable defensive ability. He's quite a good defender. He'll get some All-D attention once we, as a team, stop sucking ass.
