Here's where I have to point out that Brice Williams had the exact same wingspan and standing reach as Khris. That said, I'd like Sandfort on a 2 way.

Hawkins is such a bum. Smart player, no heart, no toughness.

It's wild to me that I just looked at two mocks and neither of them had RJ Luis getting drafted.

Gross. Hawkins sucks. Nowhere close to being an NBA player.

This might be the worst 2nd round I've ever scouted

Wasn't Hawkins the guy Fotis was willing to put his life on the line for last draft?

He's a major talent. That adds to the contempt.

He’s staying in the draft too. Turns 23 in November. Going undrafted, especially in this class, seems highly unlikely to me.

If Luis were a better shooter I'd think he'd be going higher. As is, I don't see anything that makes him stand out from the rest of the wings/2-guards you'd be looking at near the end of the draft (Sallis, Sandfort, Tonje, Kobe Sanders, etc.). The NBA track record for high usage/low efficiency 22-year old juniors can't be that great.

What's the scoop from our Greek friends on Avdalas? Super raw (doesn't turn 20 until February) but he's got some tools.

Right. Just looked at a 3rd mock (Wasserman) that also has him undrafted.

He checks a ton of boxes. NCAA is pretty old atm, so the fact that he'll turn 23 early next season doesn't even faze me. The guy was the leading scorer for the #2 defensive team in the nation, 3 level scorer, Middleton's size, tested like an athletic guard, and he's not going to get drafted? I don't buy it.

Khris in what way? In the video you posted he reminds me of Bojan Bogdanovic.

He's got some hidden play-making/pick & roll operator potential IMO. 3PT shooting splits don't do justice how good he is in certain key spots that translate well to the NBA (40% above the break, pull-up shots), He's not as long but I definitely see the parallels. I'll also throw out "what if you gave Duncan Robinson a functional handle?"

I was interested in Hawkins if we got a lower 2nd 1st last yr. He had a difficult senior yr, for whatever reason. But he checks a lot of boxes - switchable big, handling, passing, signs of shooting - to be another good 2-way option this season.

We have to think of players in that bucket when we talk about interest now. It's not just about the draft. Workouts actually mean very little to draft preference. You should really only work out potential 2-way guys cuz otherwise you're tipping teams off.

I agree, I’d think he should have late 1st consideration at least. Maybe the shin surgeries and history of shin splints is a red flag but no one even in the 2nd round thinks he’s a possible NBA player? I find that kind of hard to believe. He said himself he turned down a lot of money to stay in the draft so would you really do that if you were worried about not even being top 60 in a weak class? Maybe he didn’t have a good relationship with Pitino and the college mafia put the word out not to draft him? Lol

he's got some talent, isn't old, and might be willing to stay in Europe for a couple years -- no chance he falls to 47 in this draft

If you get another pick for free by drafting him count me in. Or even two BOGOs, I could live with that

he's probably a late first-rounder

not gonna be there

His agent could help deliver him here. It's Saratis.

Neokliss was one of the better players in the combine scrimmages. Low center of gravity with worthwhile lateral quickness separates him from most Euro prospects. He has the passing and ball handling you'd expect.

I usually don’t watch Marquette play, what’s the scouting report on Kam Jones?

Who's the best athlete in the second round? That's probably where Horst will go.
