Keep up the D with Mikal, Shamet, Wright picking up Hali early. Cut down the dumb passes to empty air. Slow the Pacer's pace. No wide open Pacer 3s by Hali or Nesmith. Make the Pacers win by shooting 2s not 3s if they're gonna win (they won't). Keep them under 100 again. Use Precious if Mitch or KAT are in foul trouble.

Thibs' last game as a knick head coach!

As a parting gift he gave us an ECF loss that could have easily been a win with good coaching! Hopefully the new coach can get it back sometime in the future.

No he is just super inconsistant on offense. Wouldn't surprise me if he went 11-15 for 28 points in game 6 and also wouldn't surprise me if he went 2-9 for 6points. That's been his season basically.

BTW one final remark: Not playing Achiuwa has also been a mistake! Achiuwa is the best defender we have against Siakam...he matches Siakam's length, athleticism and strength almost perfectly....just to have him in there 8-10 minutes to disrupt and annoy Siakam (Pacers top scorer) could have made a difference.

He's been the safety valve for Brunson, yet he self-sabotage himself with boneheaded fouls. Not gonna learn how to stay on the floor if that continues.

They're going to try and screen Mikal off of him on the inbounds. At that point I might start employing traps here and there to throw them off.

Jay Will made an interesting point on Mikal's D on Hali. I was annoyed I saw Mikal chase after Hali in Game 4. Game 4, it wasn't the full court pressure JB sees, but it was effective. Get him out his bag and stop Siakam's leaks out are going to be vital.

Another thing this does is that when Precious is in the game, Carlisle doesn't like to play with a center. It's not like they protect the paint well anyway, but seeing Siakam down there makes it even easier to get some shots in the paint.

Also, there's no reason why Mikal can't hound Haliburton the whole game, even get some fouls, because we got guys who can do the same off the bench (Deuce, Wright, Shamet). Make Hailburton work, play physical, go all out, use fouls.
