I guess speeding & then fleeing the scene is acceptable behavior.

Everything about Carter was a red flag. The racing, to the people he hung around. Including his Pro Day.

He could still pull a Henry Ruggs & it wouldn't surprise very many of us.

The speeding thing is kinda tough for eagle fans that were around during the Jerome brown days (before my time but well aware of it). Supposedly Jerome brown would always have his car going way over 100mph around the eagles facility but coaches/players wouldn’t say anything because he’s Jerome **** brown. The reckless driving ended up costing him and his nephew their life.

Not sure if the speeding thing is still an issue for Carter or not but hopefully somebody had the balls to talk to him about it. Jordan Davis seems like a good candidate for that, hopefully they had a convo during carters rookie year about it.

Wasn’t Jordan Davis rumored to be driving a vehicle when a Bama trainer (female) was killed. Or is that another Bama player I’m thinking of.

No. Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter both went to Georgia. And you are thinking about the situation with Jalen Carter. Jordan Davis was already drafted when that happened, and Jalen Carter was driving another vehicle with them when a female trainer crashed and died in a different car.

That’s what I’m thinking of! Never mind, different scenario. Carry on.

That’s the main controversy of why Jalen Carter fell to #9. If it wasn’t for that incident then he probably would’ve gone top 3 and maybe even #1.

So now that Frank Ragnow retired, who’s the 2nd best center in the NFC behind Cam jurgens?

This year should be a break out year for Cooper Beebe.

Wasn't he a fulltime Guard in college? I know the knock on him was an issue handling stunts.

The Saints Center was PFF's highest graded Center last season. Ragnow was 2nd.

Jurgens was 16th.

Yea he was a Guard at Kansas State I believe. He still has some learning to do with playing the Center position in the NFL but he wasn’t bad last year. According to Google he was 16th in pass blocking win rate and 2nd in run blocking win rate. He finished in the top 10 in NFL Centers. So not bad for a rookie. With a full NFL off season and another training camp under his belt I expect he will be better this year than he was last year.

PFF had him 20th among Centers. Which is about league average or a notch below.

Yeeeaaahhh but how many centers in the league sell their own beef jerky, and then even name it after themselves? (Beef jurgy)

That should boost him up like 10 spots automatically if you ask me.

Not everyone listens to PFF. As I stated, I just did a simple google search and that’s what came up. Believe who you want.

You tend to have an optimistic outlook when it comes to the Cowboys. My job is to challenge that. Sometimes, things might not be as rosy as we think.

I'm not a Darnold Stan. But most educated football fans will say that Darnold had a better season. The playoff game performance was the outlier which skewed things pretty dramatically.
