I plan to be loud, so waiting to see if prices drop in Section 6 behind Knicks bench. If not, I’ll get as close as I can in that corner somewhere. If you really are going DM me and we can meet for a beer pregame.

where is the best place to buy for tickets in Indy? Any specific platform?

Man, they all suck. But if you’re looking for just the cheapest seat I think Tick Pick has the lowest fees. I downloaded the Pacers app which is just an API for Ticketmaster but I figure maybe they have first dibs. I just keep hunting on TM and StubHub. If I find one that looks good, I check the other apps to see if the same seat is there for less. I’m gonna hold off to the last minute before pulling the trigger, but HMU if you’re really going or if anyone reading this knows where the Knicks bar is pregame.

The thing that got me frustrated really is that in his mind (Thibs mind) did he like really think he could get through the postseason with a bench consisting basically of Mitchell Robinson and Deuce Mcbride off the bench?

Like who in his right mind would think like that strategically? It's a pure and utter nonsense approach. A historic shooting slump by the Celtics helped us make the ECF after 25 years and Thibs lost us the series on his utter stubborness to expand the rotation.

Too little, too late.
one of my general criticisms of thibs would be he doesn't look at the big picture. it's the same thing in the regular season. he's coaching every quarter/game to win in what he views as his "best chance" (also debatable). In the playoffs probably even more so he's not thinking about the next game or round - so the logical long term thoughts don't apply.

Like Shamet and Wright (2 guys I have been advocating to be played as part of a 9 man rotation) have been a plus in all the 3 games in this series. Yet they basically didn't play at all in the playoffs.

And you are right. Thibs does not see the benefit of playing bench players early on even if it may lose a game or two in the process so he has a long and deep rotation late in the season. It's the exact same reason why he leaves startersin with 2 minutes and up 20 points. No strategic thinking at all.

His final game as a knick is upcoming...saturday!

my brother in christ, even the most positive of Knick fans read the sh*t you writing and get depressed. Team is 1 game away from a decisive game 7 and all you doing is saying how much thibs sucks and how we cant and wont win.

he blocks a few shots but he doesn't really rebound or play defense

Especially somebody as big as KAT. He can't guard KAT deep... which is why we need to spam that ****.

Yeah he pulls people out of the paint

I agree that Thibs sucks but, never count this team out. I learned that from experience.

That said, Thibs can't be trusted to stick with what works at all. That's a tough hill to climb with any confidence. I'm all in but, my faith is nowhere near as strong as it was before game 1. I just believe in these players. They have won in spite of Thibs far too often to count them out.

Thibs has been better in the playoffs than he has been in the regular season.

Thibs has made lots of dumb decisions in these playoffs and the talent has mostly bailed him out to help get us this far.

Thibs deserves credit for getting us this far as a franchise (ie foundation of winning) but this off-season is the perfect time to upgrade our coaching situation. It just is.

When he's on offense he has the worst whistle in the league.....but on defense he definitely picks up an insane amount of stupid fouls. I think he's tired and just wants out sometimes.

Yes and no, like yeah sometimes it is a dumb foul

But other times it's like you said, he has the worst whistle in the league, but on both sides. He gets no calls he should get on offense, and gets called for soft bull on the other end.

Take KAT on offense, have him get whacked hard, no call, take that exact same play, same contact, etc have KAT do it theyre calling the foul.

He gets shafted by officials on both ends of the court.

He could have fouled out last night, there were a couple plays late that were fouls on him that they just let go. The man straight up shoved Haliburton in the back on a rebound but luckily the refs swallowed their whistle.

KAT has some of the most idiotic fouls I have ever seen  A lot of the time it has nothing to do with frustration fouls, that's just how he is.

After going through this **** for 30 years I rather keep expectations at a minimum. Expecting a loss, a game 6 win in Indy would be monumental and like the complete opposite of the Knicks experience.....you can get your hopes up and be devastated in 36 hours....I choose to keep expecations minimal and have no lows in 36 hours.

He is going to have great trade value this offseason if some superstar trade shows up. But really he played overall a strong playoffs....a couple dissapearances but overall really really good. I actually like him and like rooting for him...he loves it here and wants to make it work and he is playing up to his potential mostly....I just don't know if he and JB can ultimately make it work defensively....

The thing I don't have confidence in Thibs about, besides the basic nuts and bolts of making the right calls, is that the next game hinges on imposing will. Indy has a big advantage there. And more excruciating, subtle things matter a lot in perhaps changing the course of the game.

The Knicks don't need to do anything too new or try new plays but I've see Thibs do that, or let it happen, and turnovers follow. It's boring to keep saying it at this point but you have to try to ignite KAT early. The rest of the game could hinge on that.

I guess I believe that one big score by KAT early can give the team a lot of confidence, and also throw the Pacers off their confidence. Eh we'll see. But it's not a long game. It's a short game if you don't start the right way.

At best we're keeping G6 close but if we drop the ball early, and try to have Brunson only score (something he's obviously good at), we might find ourselves basically out of it at half.

He reminds me of the biggest toddler on the playground. Uncoordinated, doesnt understand boundaries/personal space, and that he is bigger and stronger than the other kids. And so when other kids fck with him back no one gaf cause he is always creating a ruckus.

And he is just kinda a dummy. Cause some of those fouls. Theyre infuriating. You cant shove someone kat. Or why tf are you hooking Hali on the lock. Just bust his @ss. Maddening.

Seems like his brain becomes primal when he's making a move. If and when he stops to think about things - like when he makes a baseball pass - it usually works out well.

But on his drives, he shuts off. It happens. People think differently in different situations, sometimes totally differently.

Its working.

First time the pacers scored under 100 all season and it happened in the ecf game 5. Theyre 6 games from a championship.

I forgot who said it in a game thread, so I cant credit them, but they basically said the same thing that kat is at his best when he doesn't have to think. Which is insulting and hilarious.
