As long as it’s not completely random and out of nowhere, and given his history I doubt it’s that, it shows that he continues to be someone who surrounds himself with toxic people and partakes in toxic relationships, and that alone is enough to reason not invest in him as a cornerstone of your franchise.

Abuse can go on for years. There was also a long period of time when sexual abuse allegations were mostly ignored by the courts. Are you trying to tell me that Harvey Weinstein didn't rape over 80 women? Most of the rapes happened decades before the accusations. Accusing a rich and powerful man of rape 20-30 years ago saw your career ruined and the case thrown out.
