I was confident that the Knicks will prevail before the series started, and still have the same confidence. I always considered the Knicks to be superior on paper, and if they start to click on the court the Pacers will not be able to stop them. The Knicks will get this done, and they will go to the NBA Finals. Two more wins to go for the Finals, six wins total for the NBA championship.

I hate to break this news for you but the next Knicks game in MSG is scheduled for October

Thanks man, but I’m alright cause he was really old for his size and I’ve had to watch how much he’s slowed down since my dad passed & my mom had her stroke a few years ago…it was even kind of beautiful that he had held on until he saw my mom meet her granddaughter, passing away that same night, like he knew she had some new little creature to poor her love into & didn’t need him to keep holding on…it just always sucks to see my mom devastated like that. So we’re about to head up to the breeder in Wisconsin once I finish smoking…love my mom but 4 hrs in a car together might be tough

They are an awesome team and I think a really tough matchup for you because they already play so fast that you can’t speed them up into turnovers, and they can match your depth with guys like Jarace Walker not even part of the regular rotation…and I expect to see their best punch in this first half.

…but I just don’t know if this Knicks run ends here. This team has been doubted every step of the way, but they just keep grinding away & coming back, no matter how deep you think you’ve buried them. Whoever advances from this series will be able to feel like a team of destiny that can come back from anything.

If the Knicks can stay connected and avoid early deficits I definitely think Indiana could potentially tighten up. Make them play with pressure in the second half. You can’t get hit with haymakers though and fall down big early and let them play carefree. There’s only so many times you can come back from down 20, they’ve already set the record for a postseason. This is the biggest pressure spot Indiana has faced all playoffs, make them feel it, make them have to execute through that with 4th quarter desperation rather than playing with a lead all game
