They played with fire by pricing out many long time holders and its blowing up now as looks like the team is going to fade away quietly this year. Excitement is gone. The team has their work cut out now to keep ticket holders. I don’t think there is any deal they could offer me to get me back and a year ago I was fully intending on being a lifetime holder but they kept trying to extract more of my $ when the market demand isn’t there anymore.

The sales/marketing staff that I've dealt with in recent years have all been inexperienced amateurs that have no clue. But it didn't matter because a championship and a generational talent sells tickets. Now they're going to actually have to learn how to sell tickets, how to build relationships with STH.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Could not agree more. I would not trade the on court success BUT to Kohl’s tenure credit that era always made the STH very personable to the point you felt apart of it. You had a dedicated rep year to year and established a working relationship with them. You felt like a name.

That totally changed after the ownership change (even before the championship). The reps changed year to year, if not within the same season. It was often someone that felt like they were completely new to everything. Very canned emails, voice mails, etc. very very very disorganized.

I will be heading to Milwaukee Easter weekend. I know we'll be starting the playoffs on the road, so I'm wondering if they normally open up the Deer District for the away playoff games? Also, any recommendations on hotels downtown? Been looking at The Trade, Saint Kate, and The Hyatt Place.

Feel like Bucks been pretty quiet on season ticket sales/advertising lately. Wonder if waiting on how offseason shakes out. I would have to think they’re losing quite a few again. I kind of expected a random email/call to see if interested in coming back. I wouldnt be, but figure they may be in position to get people back b

Agree. They don’t know what they have to sell at the moment. Will on about July 15th.

Yup. It's a tough sell to be sure plus hey have a marketing staff who (mostly) don't have a clue what they're doing. They have been like robots the last few years: "NEW ARENA", "GIANNIS", "CHAMPIONSHIP". Those are no longer selling points. I have a feeling we're going to see some ticket promotions we haven't seen since the Kohl/Bradley Center era. Maybe take a cue from the Brewers and have cribbage board night and $1 hot dogs

What I'd like to see them do is embrace Bucks history. You have all those retired numbers up there, bring back some of those guys. Moncrief, Winters, Dandridge. Hell we had one of the GOAT, Oscar, when has he ever been invited back? Big Dog, Redd. Sure, recent fans don't really know those guys but they should. Instead of the almost always dumb halftime shows have a Moncrief night. Bring him out at halftime and show 10 minutes of his highlights. Same with the others. Darvin always gets good applause not because he's a great coach, fans remember his playing days. He wasn't even very good but he had some nice dunks (the Ham Slamwich). Why is there no Bucks Hall of Fame within FiServ or the Deer District?

I remember taking a business class in college and talking to a Bucks rep(2012 or so). He talked about how small markets & bad teams like the Bucks were at that point actually put the most money & resources into their sales & marketing teams because they needed it and teams like the Lakers, Knicks, or Heat barely employed anyone worth anything in those departments because they'd sell tickets regardless
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

And that checks out because through about 2018 I always had a great rep, felt super personal, even on half plans. It went downhill after that and got worse each year.

I do agree on bracing history a bit more. I have been seeing some 2001 flashbacks lately and would love to see some of those guys back. And have a wall of fame like the Brewers did for solid to damn good players but not necessarily retire number level.

I also hope when Giannis and Middleton get their number retired that they have a night to put up banners for Ray and Redd who have been borderline guys. I was a Big Dog guy but think too much time has passed now and get that it was probably more Ray’s team so he should be the one from that era.
