Really good win. One of the best of the season. And the Cubs finally lost. Cards are losing.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Best win of the season, all things considered. Great opponent. Hall looked awesome and gave them three innings. Preister able to go the rest of the way. Yeli with two bombs. Chourio with two hits.

Harper is iffy the next couple of games. It would be nice to have him out.

This team goes as Yelich goes. Been that way for seven years now

Kinda makes sense that Yelich would struggle in his first few months after last season's surgery. He was also a very slow starter in 2018 before cranking it up to a 9/10 on the Bonds meter. Not suggesting that he'll do that by any means, but the back surgery appears to have helped a lot with his launch angle and power, so if he can just get last year's average back, he could be really good again.

Don't try to talk me out of it just yet. I need this.

Since I said he was cooked; Yelich is hitting like .900.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Looks like tomorrow's game is on Fan Dual as well as FS1. Luzardo has been great this year, it will be a tough one.

I was saying to my brother that I would be happy if we could get one win, not I'm getting greedy and want two!

If Patrick keeps having innings like that, he'll pitch only 4 innings again. Glad he didn't give up a run though.

Hopefully Mitchell or Perkins can come back soon and replace Cameron. That or call up Rosario or Dalbec who has been playing right field at Triple A.
