I like it, but what a miserable deal for PHX. But they made that bed so now it's time to sleep in it.

#3 (Ace Bailey) and Andre Drummond
For
#6 (Kon or Tre) and Bilal Coulibaly

The Wizards suck. They are absolutely desperate for a face of the franchise. They could at least sell the fan base on the Ace upside.

The Sixers fall back and get one of their guys and a young, defensive demon on the wing.

Give me this over Herb!

Wiz fan on the trade board wants 3 straight up for Bilal.

No idea how the Wiz actually grade this guy.

The Wiz don't have to take Ace at 3, I'd like to add. They have their choice, that's part of the appeal.

Yeah. Most fans are a bit delusional about their young talent. Oh God, am I crazy for valuing McCain over #3?

That’s way too much for for just Trey.

Maybe…but as we saw last year with Bridges, the cost of acquiring a young, all-star level, wing is always going to be crazy high.

And I get not wanting to make that move with the spot the organization is in at the moment. But in an alternative universe where the Sixers can have a healthy functional team- Maxey/Grimes/Murphy/PG/Jo- would be a pretty sexy lineup.

Sixers out / Nets in: #3, Oubre, Drummond, & Gordon
Nets get a chance to draft a star. Also all 3 contracts coming back are expiring.

Nets out / Sixers in: #8, 2028 1st returned, Johnson
Sixers get a starting PF who fits well and our 28 pick back. Need to grab a targeted player like Essengue or KJ with the #8 pick.

Deal happens after the draft picks sign, so we do not get hardcapped at the 1st Apron. Nets would get hardcapped at the 1st Apron but I don't think it matters for them.

Who says no?

I’m good with this deal as long as the 8 pick is Knueppel or Jakucionis.

And I assume the Sixers would be taking and shipping Ace. This would cause a ton of people’s heads to explode on the draft board here, which I’m here for.

No way, we better not pass on Noa! If he's gone then fine go KJ or KK.

To take that kid in the top 10 over KJ or KK would be the kind of Management Malpractice 101 move that gets GM's fired and haunts franchises for years.

Yeah I don't see any universe where Noah goes before KJ or Kon. Then again, I didn't see Knecht falling as far as he did on draft night last year.

Awful take. Noa's upside is significantly higher than KJ or KK.

As more proof Essengue puts up 22/14 in a playoff game today shooting 8/16 and 3/5 from 3PT along with 4/4 from the line. This guy has the potential to be a better version of Siakam...

https://www.reddit.com/r/NBA_Draft/comments/1l0w7tr/noa_essengue_in_game_1_of_the_second_round_vs/

I'm now concerned he will be gone by #6 so we can't trade down any lower than that. Hell, we might have to stay at #3 to get him.

If somebody falls in love with the kid and wants to pay a ton to move up... sounds good to me.
