I think Indy might come out tight and this goes back to MSG. In that scenario I think Indy closes it out in MSG. That’s my gut right now.

If the Pacers win, I think it’ll have to be from monster games by Hali and Siakim similar to game 4. Selfishly I’m rooting for a Knicks win because a game 7 in MSG would be so much fun.

Philly fan rooting for New York? seems weird but I guess the Knicks and 76ers haven't had many playoff battles or seeding battles even

I’m not from Philly so I’m less concerned about the NY/Philly rivalry - the Sixers are the only Philly team I root for. At this point in the playoffs I’m just in it for the entertainment so give me a game 7 (which I hope the Knicks lose lol).

It also helps that I don’t think either of these teams have much chance against OKC in the Finals.

As an impartial observer I want an MSG Game 7. I don't really care who ultimately wins, I just want to see how everyone performs on that high-pressure stage with the Finals on the line.

I think Indy is going to come into this game absolutely locked in though. Carlisle will have those guys ready and motivated to nail the coffin shut now.

Yeah, after losing a relative every August / September for 7 of 8 years and having cared for my older half-sister for half a year before she passed, death starts hitting differently…especially when you’ve seen someone you love suffering to the point where it feels selfish not to want them to be released from their agony.

So I miss the little fella, but I’m happy for him that he was able to go peacefully in his sleep after how much his quality of life had already diminished :-(

I feel like it’s different in the NBA and if you’re a Bucks fan you might agree. I’m a Bears fan who would never root for the Packers, but I like Ray Allen and Giannis and generally root for the Bucks when they’re not playing against the Bulls and was happy for Bucks fans that I know and for Giannis when the Bucks won a ring.

I know a lot of Packer fans who would never root for the Bears, but rooted for the Bulls when we had Jordan and were rooting for Derrick Rose to beat the Heatles.

And I thought I would never root for the Knicks but I like Thibbs.
