I truly think if Haliburton tries to score more, he'll create a TON of offense.

I think Nash said this too before, that if he tried to score more, instead of looking for others, it would create so much open looks for his teammates.

Hali should aim to get 25 PPG. Keep trying to get to the rack, and BOOM, the amount of open shots his team would get would be crazy.

Oof terrible use of a Nesmith foul, they need him in the game as much as possible.

No. Because he isn’t a great 1 on 1 scorer, doesn’t have a great dribble, doesn’t have a post game, and doesn’t have a great first step.

His go to shot is a deep 3 or sloppy step back 3. It’s very easy to make him uncomfortable as hell and unable to do what he wants to do.

Wow Delon Wright is not only still in the league, looks good.

Seriously thought this guy would be great. He just had the intangibles. Kinda sucks he couldn't find a role +.

This is the first game in Indiana the Knicks didn't get punched in the mouth immediately, and the pace isn't too fast, both things favor them so far.

I’m not in love with the pace of the game for us though. We’ve had opportunities to slow down the game but we turned it over trying to play too fast… Hart charge, Mitch turnover after the steal, Mikal weird af jump pass, etc

He's very smart, he can shoot, and he's tall, but everything you said is also true. He just doesn't have a great bag for scoring. For a guy with only an average handle though, I will say he's pretty good about maintaining his dribble.
