It's not that we don't have the assets.. trading KAT + fillers is probably the best player the Bucks can get. Unfortunately, Bucks wants to totally rebuild if they trade Giannis.

This offseason, stars will be traded at a discount to balance their salary cap and unless we trade KAT.... we're not part of any discussions.

Absolutely insane to put blame this series on KAT. This is a sweep w/ 2 blowouts in IND if he didn’t take control.

Than I'm insane. Game 1 drops, Game 2 drops. Doesn't manner how many buckets you put up if you can't follow the D game plan. When I was at the garden for Game 2, the amount of times I could hear MIkal or OJ or Mitch yelling on D at KAT was ABSOLUTELY insane to me for an ECF game. They've had over 100 games to work on this ****.

Oh, and Hart. He had a rough one, too.

Game 1? Are you serious??? he got us a 15 pt lead with 4 mins left.

35 pts 12 rebs 11-17 FG 4-8 3PT 9-11 FT

Game 1. Where he wasn’t anywhere near guarding Nesmith. Sure. All his fault.

My bad. I'm too busy flexing after dunking on you to get you back (Knicks still got the L).

You can’t judge the success of KAT and Brunson off of one series matchup

Sure we can when the same squad has owned us back to back years and - at this point - is the team to beat in the East for us.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Homophobia isn't a joke. This is 2025. Please grow up. You wouldn't post this about any other Knicks players but because KAT sounds funny sometimes when he talks everyone wants to make homophobic jokes about the guy. It's not funny and it's not cool. This is 2025, grow up.

Knock it off with this weird ass behavior lmao

He’s always being weird af. No wonder no one likes him here

Allows trade the smaller player, since he is the one that has to work harder on the offensive end.

I said it when Shams Charania talked about Giannis possibly leaving Milwaukee, and I said then that Giannis and KAT would be the better fit because Giannis needs the ball because teams aren't going to feel threatened by him in pick and rolls when he's getting the ball at the free throw line and having to shoot.

He better learn something, because I'm not back on the Knicks train to watch more hero ball all over again.

If thibs is back it doesn’t matter what the roster is hero ball will remain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

KAT

JB type of players are not hard to find.

Call Dallas and see if they want JB back for that 1st pick.

Hire Mike Malone and run it with Kolek aka Steve Nash.

KAT defense is bad BUT if you had a coach who could maximize his offensive impact AND get him to slightly improve, it would make a huge difference.

Bridges is not it

It’s hard to determine this because he’s only been a ball handler in spot situations.

Yep I've noticed he was killing us to get revenge on Thibs. Super frustrating, but it is what it is...he's a solid player that we could have definitely used instead of giving away to an EC rival for free.

Trading KAt is #1-15 of our priority list this offseason.

It was 3-3 until 2000. Now it's 3-6.

The worst part is that this year's loss is by far the worst.

The last two losses (2013 and 2024) were understandable. In 2013, the vets had nothing left in the playoffs and JR Smith forgot how to play basketball in the second round. Melo couldn't carry that team by himself. And last year we basically had no healthy players left by the end of the series.

This year is different. Even with Thibs' poor coaching, we were the better team and we were healthy. That Game 1 loss may be the most humiliating loss in Knicks history and set the tone for the rest of the series.

It's great that we made it to the ECF and beat the Celtics, but I can't help but feeling that last year's team (when healthy) was better.

Last year's roster was beating teams by 20+ points every game.

No, last year the Knicks had a losing record against teams with W-L percentages of .500 or better. Same as this season.

I think the Knicks were fortunate to win the Boston series. This season the Knicks only won 39% of their games against teams with records of .500 or better. It's unrealistic to expect the Knicks to start beating winning teams when they have been losing to those teams all season.

After last year they kept their core together, we traded for two new major pieces….

Teams win with chemistry, continuity and experience give us a couple years together we’ll be better
