You don't think an Obi vs iHart finals can draw as high of a rating as Magic vs Bird did in the 80's?

Pacers might steal a game due to shooting variance (think wolves game 3) but OKC is going to suffocate them.

Their offense is fueled by transition which OKC will take away.

As a fan it's weird because on one hand if the pacers look good it makes the Knicks look better... But them getting absolutely destroyed and losing every single game by 20+ would make me feel somewhat better. Even if that means knowing the same thing was likely going to happen if the Knicks made it to the finals.

The only way that the Pacers will ever win an NBA championship is if somehow they moved to the Western Conference and played the Knicks in the finals.

I'm rooting for your guy SGA and OKC. I'll be sick if Halibum wins a chip

I'll watch some. OKC are not unpleasant aesthetically. Can't really say the same about the Pacers, but they can be hard-trying losers. Well, maybe Hali will bail, but the rest will fight to inglorious basketball death.

Indiana - Oklahoma gonna be the lowest ratings Finals of all time, who wants to watch either of these teams?

People that live in Oklahoma and Indiana, that's who. So about 852 people are loving it.

Go Thunder.
I will only cherish the wins and ignore everything else, because that's the only way to survive as a Knicks fan.

On one hand, if the Pacers beat OKC in 5 or 6 games, then I would fell less bad about losing to them because it would mean the Knicks gave them the hardest matchup of all teams

On the other hand, I'd still feel like crap because we were just a few mental errors away from being in the Finals and winning it all

This is OKC’s year I think.

The real lesson is the two best teams had the most playable guys. Not the strongest starting five. Depth is what got teams into the finals this year, and low-key I think it’s what got Boston to the finals last year too. The Mavs just happened to have maybe a top 5 player. OKC has a top 5 player and the best depth in the west, maybe the league.

I'm looking at the Blazers roster. I could see a trade for some of their guys for depth using KAT's contract. Particularly Simons and Ayton.

Indiana's hatred is purely historical and forced. I haven't seen anything they've done in this series that any other team or player wouldn't have done facing this Knicks team.

I would still take them over these free throw merchants, arrogant OKC bums.

Too bad both cannot lose, but if I had to choose one to win then OKC it is. There's just no way I will root for Hali to win the title.
