We also need to talk about OG.. this is his first time play 70+ games in since his ROOKIE YEAR. I LOVEEEEEEEEE OG's game but he is also a risk factor. And did we luck out this year? He is also make big $$$ for a 3rd/4th option. Do you look into trading him?

In the end, every team is looking to balance their books and stars wil be traded on a discount. OG might be enticing for some teams.

I would actually do this trade. I love KAT, love his modern game. I've said this a few times already, I've always thought putting effort on defense is half the battle. He does that but holy fck, he is dumb as rocks on the defensive end but then is Albert Einstein on the offense. I don't get it.

With KD, you have a bucket getter and will actually demand the ball from Brunson during crunch time. Too many times KAT is sitting somewhere and watching Brunson. KD is also a great help defender and perimeter defender. KD also has 2 years left on the deal compare to KAT.

another ball handler and creator too. it's a much better fit. gonna have to find a way to get a decent backup center too. don't know if capela or horford will take the tax mle. seems too hopeful.

That YouTuber 'Awful coaching ' used to praise the Knicks and Thibs for being one of the few teams last year not to do drop coverage in the playoffs, and now Thibs decides to run it this year for some reason.

Thibs has no problem benching a player he is fed up with. If KAT went rogue he wouldn't have played the most minutes on the team tonight.

In your premise that would mean the Knicks would not have the ability to get better, which is not the case…

My thought process is that we are most likely keeping the core and building a better bench.

Whether it does or doesn't, Giannis sets better picks than KAT. Having a better pick partner helps. Especially since with Giannis, you ain't picking and popping. I don't know what's JB's problem doing pick and pops with KAT. I remember he did them well with KP, but maybe I'm not remembering it well.

I don't think he will be fired because he met his expectations. Before the season started, we were supposed to make it to the ECF. We did that and we got it to game 6.
