Looking forward to seeing Indy play this pressure defense vs OKC. They are known for offense but showed they can step up and play defense too.

I'm more fascinated with the bigs.

OKC wants to play big by starting Hart, but Turner makes that tough. But it gives them so much size that you can see them salivating at how Mitch dominated the boards in this Knicks series.

Punishing the Pacers with physicality is what you want to do. The Pacers are going to be hoisting a record amount of 3s to prevent that.

Knicks added two great wing defenders and yet their team couldn’t stop anyone. You’re seeing the problem with paying so much money to these guys. Brunson and Towns were just so bad especially Towns. Pacers ran layup lines in many games in this series.

I like their team and they aren’t far away but Towns needs to be moved and I have my doubts about Brunson as the main guy. Just seems too iso heavy and lots of guys standing around. Pacers play beautiful basketball.

That thread was doomed from the start. It only continued on for 10+ pages because OP couldn't fathom the fact that a low-to-mid 30s on low volume three-point shooter (which is what Siakam was for the majority of his career in Toronto) could possibly have a hot streak or two to equalize his numbers after a brutal start.

So happy for Siakam. He fits like a glove in Indiana and he hasn't been afraid of the moment which has led the Pacers to back-to-back ECF appearances and now a chance at the Championship. A well-deserved ECF MVP and hopefully he can continue to put together some big games in the Finals because it's going to take everything from Indiana to beat OKC 4 times.

Brother have you seen KD’s teams do absolutely nothing? Jesus the Knicks made the ECF in their first year with zero depth. Why the hell would they trade Towns? If anything I’d explore Hart and Bridges because they stunk up the joint. And probably Robinson too because he’s expiring

It’s extremely difficult to win at the highest level in this league with below average defense at the 1 and 5. It’s also extremely difficult to ride a small guard at the highest level. Knicks desperately need a true first option and to prioritize defense at the 5. KD is still an all-NBA player and would be the best player to put on a Knicks jersey.

Jamal Murray already repped Canada hard and got the ring.

I think Siakam winning it again would be the better story. Too much FTM stuff around with SGA.
And plus you got Rick Carlisle who last won with Dirk - seeing him with his second ring would also be good for the game, he's a coach's coach.
