Feel like Bam and Brunson fit really well. He can pass the ball, he can cover on defense, he can inject toughness.

Sign me up. Bam is more of a thibs guy as well. Can see him utilizing Bam as a passing hub like he did with Ihart and Randle while giving us max effort on defense.

I’ll take the bullet on KD. You get the shot creator that we badly need next to Brunson and he isn’t nearly as bad on defense as KAT

I hate the age but I can see the argument.

He will definitely create more shots for others than Towns.

After those two though, not sure if there’s any fit. Would be someone unexpected.

Brunson needs a new coach who either teach him to be a better playmaker or make him a SG next to a big PG who can defend the POA and hit the three at an elite level and a point forward who can run plays and a center that can pass… thats the only recipe for him to be top5 player in this league

Then you can have all KAT Mikal and Hart out of this team and it wont matter… build around him but do it wisely

KAT has deep flaws but it’s not credible to focus on him and make like OG and Mikal are not problems when they both had the worst advanced numbers

You focus on only KAT and ignore the bad output of OG and Mikal and it isn’t honest

Nullifies the fair points on KAT

you just have to be very cautious on who you get with KAT. If you do deal him. Analytics say he was our most impactful player this year. He basically helped Josh Hart be nearly a fringe all-star type player (there was talk about that during the season).

Like Hart is pretty useless or a 20 minute a night bench player if you go after Giannis since there fit sucks. So a lot goes into this.

I'm also not trading for KAT for a soon to be 37 year old KD who has played over 65 games once in the last 7 years. We can't be shrinking our window like that. It has to be the right move. Whether its moving him for 2-3 very good pieces or a Giannis type thats one thing. But KD is not the answer.

You people need to stop buggin. Mitch was out a half a year and Josh Hart carried that load, with record breaking triple doubles. KAT averaged the best numbers of his carrer.

I'm not feeling another roster turnover again. We need continuity to win a chip, not continuous big roster moves.

i just said that it would come out that guys on the team didn't like playing with him. didn't take an hour for it to happen.

Katz had an article about it not too long ago. You brought back most of the core last season. Mikal knows how Hart and JB play. Chemistry issues shouldn't be this bad this late in the year. It's been obvious the issue is KAT this whole time. I'm telling you, when I was at Game 2, Mikal was loud, OG was loud, JB was so-so, Mitch was loud, Hart was so-so, and 90% of their communication was at KAT. "KAT, get here-get here".

KAT and Hart for Adebayo and Herro… otherwise nope… i just cant stand Josh Shumpert

Then trade Mikal and Achiuwa for Paul George or Murphy

To be fair OG and Mikal were tasked with defending as well as they can around to weak defenders in Brunson and KAT. Replace either of them with a good defender and I think they could have played better on offense because they would have more energy.

This needs to printed on people's foreheads. Katz does not make **** up. It is exhausting to have to cover for this dude on D 30-40 minutes. People are obviously frustrated with KAT's D. It consistently destabilizes what they want to do on D.

I dont think Kat understands or maybe he doesnt care. I always believed if he did work out -he was a better place holder than Randle; a player that a team would prefer over randle.
When I saw OG confronting KAT I was disappointed because OG doesnt talk much so for him to confront Kat that said to me Kat was **** up big time.

If you can get Giannis for Kat cool, but trading for a 37 year old KD, who has disrespected us for years and didn't even make the playoffs this year would be a mistake.

Knicks will never trade Brunson.

It is possible that KAT will get traded.

Most likely scenario is we stay the same and build the bench.

KAT looks like the odd man out. He’s an amazing talent and one of the best offensive bigs in the league without a doubt. He provided some wild performances, including him willing us to a win in this series

That being said it is VERY tough to defend with him and Brunson out there. Pacers exposed it to the point it couldn’t be masked

It will be interesting to see the haul. Leon has made some really good moves in his tenure so hopefully he can make another. The hit piece being dropped hopefully doesn’t hurt his trade value since it makes it more obvious we will be at the very least open to moving him

OG and Mikal not only had to worry about the players they were defending, but they also had to worry about the player Jalen and KAT were defending.

1000%. Him and OG did what they needed to do. Mitch's moments were more meaningful. Another example of Thibs being Thibs because he was afraid of the hack-o-Mitch in the 2nd half.

Ohhhhh boy.... just like Celtics, Nuggets, Twolves... leaks will start to open.

I doubt it. However, the fan gossip circle will inspire reporters to write about imaginary beefs this offseason. Angry, stupid people are more susceptible to conspiracies and gossip
