Using that to see who could use picks...

'27 Spurs Unprotected 1st and '31 T'Wolves Unprotected 1st (via Kings) = Which 2025 1st?
'31 Bucks Unprotected 1st = Which 2025 1st?
'31 Lakers Unprotected 1st = Which 2025 1st?
'31 Cavs Unprotected 1st = Which 2025 1st?
'26 Pistons Unprotected 1st = Which 2025 1st?
'26 Warriors Unprotected 1st = Which 2025 1st?
'26 Grizzlies Unprotected 1st = Which 2025 1st?

Also just curious... how far would 8, 19 and '26 Unprotected Nets 1st get Brooklyn?

As a reference... in last year's weaker draft (https://www.nba.com/news/timberwolves-spurs-trade-rob-dillingham-2024-nba-draft)

Spurs get:
2031 first-round pick (unprotected)
2030 pick swap (top 1 protected)

Timberwolves get:
Rob Dillingham (8th overall pick)

Memphis is trying to clear salary and wouldn't want the rookie salary and already have a lot of youth to work in, I don't think we have much interest in getting into this draft unless it a too good to pass opportunity.

Also just curious... how far would 8, 19 and '26 Unprotected Nets 1st get Brooklyn? Likely 3. Gives Morey some ammo to improve the roster using some of this return in trades and likely still draft a young guy.

In general, what would say an unprotected '26 or '31 1st is worth?

vucevic + 12th for dort + jaylin williams.

OKC . Vucevic is probably a wash with Jaylin as backup C and now you lost dort spot in the rotation for pick #12.

Dort isn’t going anywhere Sam cuts dieng and makes room for the draft. Why would you trade Dort he’s sga’ best friend and a great defense player.

I would not hate Charlotte sending out one of our future DAL or MIA 1sts if there's a target we really like , especially one that could break into our rotation from day 1. but idk if I can trust Jeff Peterson to make that judgement call

15 for 2026 Warriors Top 4 Protected First Round Draft Pick (2027 Top 1 Protected / 2028 Unprotected)

I would prefer a 2028 or latter pick from warriors obviously but based on value seemed about right . Pick can end up anywhere between 10-20. OKC probably ask for a random second to sweeten the value abit in our favour cause we giving up a guaranteed pick for a chance of something better .

Edit - GSW only consider it when pick 12-13 is selected and someone they like is still available. Not something they will consider pre draft day.

dort gone might be addition by substraction at this point, cason and caruso are vastly outperforming him and there are young players that could use the spot.

vucevic is just filler, i'd waive him tbh.

12th in a class this deep is an extremely high return for a player of dort's level.

the last double dip the thunder made in the early teens we got a jalen williams.

I wonder if OKC would just do 15 for '31 Lakers 1st straight up?

I think this is very likely esp with teams that are hardcapped. I also want them to get rid of their busts included with the pick.

7 spots back compared to what the Spurs pick was, without the additional pick swap, but in a shallower draft. It might be tilted slightly in OKC's favor, but if there is a player there who the Lakers like, I could see them doing it.

27 Spurs 1st without a doubt. Probably even kick in a 2 charlotte 2nds.

I'd also consider the 31 Minnesota 1st.

With how the rotation guys have perform in the playoff, the focus should be if you are good enough you just have to outplay wiggins/joe.

We shouldn’t be creating room just in the hope that someone will be a rotational player in the playoff. There’s enough slot and playtime for that player to emerge.

In that same draft we selected Jalen Williams we also selected Dieng . Draft picks can go either way.

Would have to be protections on LAs FRP and swap, otherwise they are insane.

I’d actually be open to trade the #5 pick if I was Ainge. It would have to be multiple unprotected picks though with one of them conveying next year though.
