Trapping Brunson like Lillard was key. Will the pressure of Indy have the same affect against the height of SGA?

Hate the Pacers, but should be a track meet Finals with intense defense.

Coach Carter wrote:Can't expect more of the Knicks. I blame our front office. We have the best player in the East and yet continue to get bounced in the 1st round.

I don't think there's a front office in the league that would have a contender after they lost a player like Lillard.

I think OKC is going to stomp them. Their outstanding defense matches up perfectly with this Indy squad, and Indy thrives off of the energy their offense creates. Without their offensive momentum, they could fall apart.

That being said, OKC is still lacking in experience, so I expect some jitters.

If you had told me before the playoffs that the Knicks were going to beat the Celtics and then **** themselves in the conference finals against the Indiana Pacers....

Lol.

OKC is -835 and Indy +550. I think OKC wins but that's steep. Over 5.5 games is +125, under is -165. And a bunch of other prop bets.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I get that it's their post playoff loss emotion talking, but the number of Knicks fans that seem to think KAT and stuff for Giannis is a legit option for them this summer is really funny.

Siakam with the potential to have 2 championships is something. What a number two to have in both Toronto and now Indiana.

Not knowing a single Pacer fan is softening this. I only know of one online OKC fan.

In the end as long as Boston isn't hoisting the trophy I'm generally fine with any outcome. This is fine.

OKC fans are pretty great. They probably deserved one in the 2010s. SGA is no more egregious than many other NBA stars w/r/t free throws. They're young, and more important, likeable. I hope they win in 4.

Thunder are getting extremely overrated. I think Pacers take it in a semi easy 6
Bucks tricked me into being a diehard in 2001, LeBron is the 2nd best player ever, and pizza is awesome.

I think the pacers are going to beat them in 5. They’re going to send everything at SGA and make someone else beat them and it seems like the thunder struggle with that when the other team has enough scoring options. This pacers team has completely surprised me. It’s like the recent heat runs on steroids.

Well those fans have media folks like Windhorst telling them that it's possible. The part I find funny is you'll see a media member talk about how difficult it will be to find a team that will give up assets for KAT in one breath and then in the next lay out the idea of KAT to a third team, assets to Milwaukee, and Giannis to Knicks.

I used to hate the Pacers, but now I'm just kind of amazed at what they are doing to other teams. Are they ****, sure. But they are backing it up with actions. Wish the Bucks could play like this.

I’m good with this timeline. Not sure we’ve ever had two small markets going up against each other, and the teams were built with very smart GM work.

These are the 18th (Pacers) and 25th (OKC) payrolls matching up

Most interesting part of this matchup is SGA having the most ridiculous whistle since prime Harden/Kobe vs the team that for some reason is allowed to get away with straight up assault on defense every possession. Something’s gotta give.
