LaVine to Orlando
Orlando gets: Zach LaVine
Orlando give: Isaac, Anthony or KCP, 16
Why for Orlando: At 44% Zach becomes the best 3pt shooter on the team. Zach pairs well between Suggs and Wagner and his defense can be hidden.
A side action Suggs/Banchero pick and role with Zach in the corner becomes a set that is very hard to defend
Why for Sac: breaks up the LaVine contract, adds length in Isaac, opens up space for Keon, adds a swing at 16
Orlando give: Isaac, Anthony or KCP, 16

Re: LaVine to Orlando
Vivek isn’t letting Zach be parted out.
He wanted Zach for years, he isn’t going to be talked out of it this summer. Perry is stuck with LaVine for at least a little bit. I’d bet Perry’s bigger problem is stopping Vivek from pushing on a contract extension.

Re: LaVine to Orlando
They need to include all 3 to make the salaries work. Or goga/Harris instead of Isaac.
Sure though. But I cant see orlando agreeing to that.

Re: LaVine to Orlando
I don't see Orlando giving Sac a get out of jail free card. Drop the 1st and maybe it could work. Otherwise Sac is going to have to let Lavine show he can help a team win next year, but if he actually helps the Kings start winning then they likely don't want to trade him for this return at that point. It's a catch 22.

According to ESPN Isaac and Anthony alone works fine.

Magic don’t want to get hard capped at the first apron by accepting more salary then they send out. It’s probably not an issue for the Kings.

He is a career .391. Cole is a career .345.
Orlando is filled with poor 3 point shooters. But whatever. You all keep throwing up bricks.

I mean lavine is the superior shooter no doubt about it. But hes also dumb and making 47 million. If they just wanted a 40% 3pt shooter they could get klay or Hauser for probably close to nothing.
I still think thats pretty much all bad salary coming back to sac. Its a fair deal, but Orlando would then have Paolo, wagner, Suggs, lavine all making insane money for a non contender

Re: LaVine to Orlando
Maybe by the trade deadline, if Lavine plays well, the Kings can find a taker, since he'd have only a season and a half remaining on his contract. Until then, the Kings made their bed and must now lie in it.

Re: LaVine to Orlando
I would love to see Lavine on a well-structured team. I think he would look great in Orlando. For that package, it would be a gift. I find it strange that Magic fans would reject this offer, considering the shortcomings they have, the package they are sending (basically replacements, some bordering on unplayable). Zach only has 2 years left... 23.3 points with 44% from 3...

If it’s KCP, Isaac and Cole the Magic save a little cash.

Re: LaVine to Orlando
CAnthony, KCP (3rd team?), Issac, #25 for Lavine
Orl sucks it up and goes for it. Suggs/Lavine/Franz/Paolo/Carter could win the East, still have Black, Goga, Wagner (if they pick up the option), TDS, Howard, #16 for a bench. Orl could REALLY use Lavine's scoring, and his D isn't as bad as its rep

well whats cost to replace the 2 spots they will have lost? its the next yr 20 mill when paolo kicks in ..when if needed can not pick up cole...isaac only guaranteed 8 mill ...and kcp much easier 21 mill exp to move if need to stay under 2nd apron ...i am sure thats why contracts set up like they are
but trade makes magic worse and cost them depth and no telling what pick 16 turns into..

Re: LaVine to Orlando
Nobody is giving a mid FRP for Lavine. Zach Lavine is widely known to be a negative value in the NBA. Took CHI 3 years to trade him. SAC would be lucky to get salary dump alone for him.

If I’m Orlando I’m worried about 25/26 season and the weak ass east. If the Magic had more scoring pop and playmaking from the guard position they are as good as anyone in the east. Plus they have the size and defense to compete with OKC but they don’t have the scoring. I wouldn’t include 16. Maybe 25 and the Magic would be better on the court. I think the kings could flip KCP for some value too.

Good pt, hard cap not necessarily giant thing but enough disincentive to sour something you’re already joy that into.

sure but so ,so many other ways without killing depth and cheaper ..maybe even 2 players added ..not going into apron...ect...
heck what are odds lavine stays healthy enough to cover kcp min ....i wont bet with his history...and as i stated i think it makes team worse even if magic make no moves over lavine

If they made that deal and declined Harris/Joseph, Magic will have a full roster and just into the tax.
Top 8: Lavine/Suggs/Wagner/Pablo/WCJ/Black/da Silva/Goga/(plus two rookies) and room to make further improvements without hitting any apron.
