Curry, Durant, Butler - Book it.

Explain how that works financially

This offseason shouldn't be that tough to turn things around.
Trade Kuminga for a Bridges or Cam Johnson. I am CERTAIN other teams are very high on Kuminga's ceiling and ticket draw.
Grab Adams. That would do it.

If you meant Mikel Bridges, it ain't happening. If you meant miles, I hope you are just ignorant about what he's done as opposed to a 'win at all costs' mentality.

In order to trade JK for Cam, we'd need to sign him to a contract 2x as large as Cam's in order for the rules to allow that S&T. Meaning, the first year of JK's contract would have to be 41M. I believe he can't sign for more than 38 in year 1 so the JK for Cam S&T is DOA.

If reports are true regarding the Celtics attaching a pick to holiday then it’s got to be worth pursuing for us.

Any way to make the salary work?

Not without including Draymond. Jrue makes $32.4M next year. There are 9 on next year's Warrior roster. After the top 3 the next 6 on the roster don't add up to that much.

Can Warriors trade GP2s expiring contract at the draft?

Sign jk for 22. Add moody and buddy. That's about 32. Throw in gui, if you need 2m. I wouldn't do it for jrue but we can find ~30m if we aggregate jk, moody, hield.

They were asking about the Celtics who can't receive an S&T player. It could work somewhere else.

Does that apply to giving 2-way players like jackson rowe guaranteed deals?

At the moment, we have

moody - 11.6
buddy - 9.2
podz - 3.7
TJD - 2.2
Santos - 2.2
Post - 2.0

Without S&T or guaranteeing someone else, we'd have 30.9M in contracts + 41st pick. I think that pick, once made, could be a ~$2M player but I'm not sure how trading drafted players works under the new cba (or the old one, tbh). I really wouldn't want to trade post considering he makes less than santos or tjd but if we absolutely had to get to 32.4 couldn't we draft someone at 41 or guarantee rowe?

Rowe is on a 2-way contract, if he's converted to a standard contract the usual trade restrictions apply, 3 months or December 15, whichever is later. A draftee can be traded 30 days after signing his first contract.

Thanks for clearing that up. So, before the draft, we have 30.9M in contracts while after signing the draft pick(s), we'd have ~$32-33M depending on where we start the pick in year 1. We can trade that drafted player 30 days after signing (e.g. aug 1st at the earliest). What if we sign UDFAs, same 3 months or dec 15 restrictions?

Those are the standard restrictions for signing any FA.

seems like the biggest advantage of late 2nd rounders vs UDFAs is the ability to trade the former in the summer. Good to know.

No. A free agent in the upcoming offseason cannot be traded after the season ends. It would have to be a S&T after the July Moratorium for that player.

It used to be that signed first round picks could be traded after 30 days. That's what happened with Wiggins in the Cavs-Twolves trade for KLove. I assume the same rule applies to signed second round picks under the latest CBA, but who knows.

It hasn't changed. From the 2023 CBA, Article VII, Sec 8, (d), (i):

"No Draft Rookie who signs a Standard NBA Contract or player who signs a Two-Way Contract may be traded before thirty (30) days following the date on which the Contract is signed."
