I can't deal with a conference league level attack trying to win serious things next year again lol

Sesko turns 22 at the end of May. Continues to be built up as a future top forward.

Quite a lot of tools going for him. His size (6'4") aligns with Arsenal's affinity for set pieces, though, thus far, it hasn't lead to many goals. Can use both feet and shows a wide range of finishing. However, his conversion rate needs to improve. In his two years at RB Leipzig, he's never tallied more than 14 goals per season in the Bundesliga. Decent link-up play and dribbler. Weakest part of his game is his creativity/playmaking.

Very curious to see the transfer fee should it happen. I feel, like Ekitike, these developmental forwards aren't worth what these clubs value them at. But because there's a lack of quality in that position...

Raw players that aren't ready to do much in the short term when we need real quality in attack. He has the physical tools but yea , it hasn't translated into a lot of production. And a forward that isnt producing in germany is a pretty scary prospect. Lets see. I do wonder that fee will be. I doubt it's the 92.5M pounds being quoted in the telegraph. His clause was a like 50M pounds last summer , there's no way his agent is bad enough to make his fee that high.

Sounds as if Arteta wanted Sesko while Berta pushed for Gyokeres.

I wonder if Sesko was chosen so that Havertz still has a part to play, especially when you consider the wages he's on.

$100 mil for Bruno. What do you all think? Im mixed unless we replace him with 2 decent players.

I cannot have a Harry Captain again.

Liverpool turned down 150m for Salah. Granted, LFC has been in better position to win things, whereas Manchester United appear to be going through a rebuild.

Damn I hate that Cherki is going to the one team
I hate always root against. It'll be amazing to see him on a strong team though, Lyon has been an awful fit for him the last few years. Seen city fans saying 40m was too much but he is going to destroy teams with the kind of targets they have.

Even with the additions of Cherki and Reijnders, I don't see Manchester City running away with the PL as they once did.

It's wrapped up.

A lot of ascending elite talent too like Reis, Gvardiol, Bobb and O'Reilly.

I think City take 25-26, the only team that could stop them is the blue side of London, but I don't think we taste a PL until 26-27.

Mbuemo chooses United. WE STILL GOT IT.

A front 3 of Gyokeres, Cunha and Mbeumo should be solid enough to get back to Europe

Gyokeres has his pick of teams in Europe, joining United makes zero sense.

Surprised Bruno Fernandes has only been with the team for 5 years, feels much longer.

He became a star with Rueben. ManU is still a top club even without Europe. If he values Champions league. Then yes you are correct.

I dont see any clubs linked otherwise. Maybe Liverpool if they sell.

Does United have the spending power to spend about 200m?

It's possible.

Cunha's £62.5m transfer won't go on the 2025 books as such. Instead, it'll either be the negotiated payment structure with Wolves or the amortization years of the contract. Not sure which. Regardless, it's below the £62.5m, which would allow Manchester United to keep spending.

Is the £200m based on that methodology or full transfer fees?

United are apparently starting with $125 mil to spend before sales. Cunha is either 2 or 3 payments so lets say $30 mil. Mbuemo at $50 will be spread over probably 5 years, so $10 mil/year.

With the sales of like 8 players and the $125 mil. The money can be there. Dont forget all the wages we would be dropping as well.

For the record, no one really knows how the money works, we kind of just guess.
