Trade offers for Jamal Murray
Denver needs to make a move to stay competitive or they will waste the prime of an ATG player and he might demand out.
Apart from Jokic very few Nuggets players have trade value. Braun is a rising, young player that plays a position of need, so trading him would be dumb as the Nuggets would not get a better player with better upside. Gordon has also made strides in his skillset and he should also be out of the trade discussions if the Nuggets want to stay competitive.
Nobody wants MPJ even as many Nuggets detractors constantly sing his praises.
The rest of the Nuggets are not valued very much and Denver is not able to aggregate their value in a package because they have no depth.
That leaves us with Murray.
There is a significant fanbase that adores Murray and elevates him to a superstar status in the playoffs. He is 28, should be right in his prime. He was healthy the whole season and through the playoffs. His regular season stats are the highest they have been. And he is locked on a 4 year max contract.
So let me hear your offers for this playoff superstar.

Which Jamal Murray we're talking about? the one who sucks, is worthless, is overpaid and is holding Jokic down? If so:
Reaves, Vando, Kleber and Vincent is a good offer, Reaves is a cheap starting guard, and Kleber Vincent can give 20 MPG bench minutes that, are expiring and can be used for a trade, or wait for them to expire and get cap flexibility, Vando is a very good innings eater in RS.
Sexton, Klay, Naji Marshal (Mavs arrange a trade for Sexton) also is a good package.
IRL, Murray is a very good second option, fits well with Jokic, is a PO riser who had a single bad series against the Wolves last year and it's used to taint his legacy, and Nuggets can't really afford to move on from him.

Interesting that first two responses were LA.
But I think Denver should keep him because upgrading him is really difficult. You can’t downgrade your second option with Joker in his prime, even if the second option is inconsistent..

It's been discussed, probably to death, but Denver's championship (certainly worth it!) led to committing to a core that just isn't that good. Bold moves to sell high on Murray and possibly others might have set this team up for longer-term success. Or at least a higher floor. Ultimately, though, you just kind of shrug and accept that it was probably not realistically going to go any other way.

Murray cooks Lakers, probably why. I see Murray as a bigger version of Kyrie in that he's an ancillary iso scorer to a helicentric system that works very well. His archetype fits with Jokic, Doncic, LeBron. Of course Jokic fans want to poop on him but they would be left holding the poop if Murray left and they could see his value left by what they'd no longer have.

It is not a problem to get a fair return for Murray, the problem is that it would unlikely make Denver better

Yeah, I mean it would he great to upgrade him. I just don’t see the realistic player that upgrades him. And you don’t trade your second option for depth imo.
Not a good idea but would try a three team trade around..
KD for Murray. Get some value back from Phoenix and then trade MPJ+ overpaid guard/depth?
Really shortens the window around Joker but maybe improves the chances of another banner?

Utah can't make a win now offer, but if there's a 3rd team with a star who wants to reset I'd do Collins/Sexton/picks for Murray. Have to think a bit about picks. Maybe #5 + a future lightly protected pick (could substitute in a non-Kessler young guy as well).

seem like a big overpay for murray. i think sexton/markkanen is interesting though

yeah it's trading a win now asset in their prime from a team that needs win now assets in their prime.
i get that he sometimes coasts but it really doesn't seem like Murray is the problem there.
I actually still like their roster going forward. MPJ did shrivel up in the playoffs, but he's been decent enough in the past. Braun is growing into a solid contributor, and Watson and Strawther still have upside.
They fell short against OKC, but we're entering an era where everyone is going to be falling short of them. They have a big pile of picks and have been hitting at a high rate. Lots of very good teams aren't going to be able to keep up.

Happy to remove the extra 1st. Sexton/Lauri would require a fair chunk more money from Denver right? But dealing Lauri wouldn't be my first choice, probably too good of value to pass up I guess.

That's probably not a bad offer and while I don't think Denver would trade Murray, it would behoove them to consider replacing him with quality depth (also I think Reaves is actually better asset than Murray in a vacuum).
I made a post yesterday about offering Keon Ellis and Malik Monk to the Lakers, I wonder if a similar framework could be used for a Murray deal? Ellis, Monk, DeRozan for Murray, Saric and Tyson or Pickett matches almost exactly financially, gets Sacramento a DeAaron Fox replacement (and Murray could work similarly off of Sabonis as he does Jokic), and for Denver breaks Murray up into several depth pieces. DeRozan and Monk can replace Murray's scoring output and I really like the idea of getting Keon Ellis to a contender so that he can be that Caruso/Dort/Nembhard/Jrue Holiday defensive guard piece that's been so valuable over the last 2 postseasons

They shouldn't trade him, they need to bite the bullet this year and wait until MPJ is expiring next year, then do a trade.
Murray is just higher tier talent than Reaves, it's a step down, they shouldn't take when Jokic is in his prime.

I think LA will spend their assets on a front court player rather than Murray.

Re: Trade offers for Jamal Murray
I wouldn't mind having him on the Bulls but can't completely sell the future to get him. Then it's hard to add up to $50M then most of those going west would have to be guards. White, Dosunmu, Huerter and Vucevic make $57M all expiring if that is of any interest to DEN. Otherwise the Bulls can't give up more without needing Murray to carry a huge load.

Denver sends Murray
Toronto sends Quickley and Agbaji
Murray goes home
Denver gets under the second apron and saves money.

Re: Trade offers for Jamal Murray
Its fine to look at some of the up and down nature of Murray's play and believe your team should only offer junk for him. But I wonder if you stop and think why would Denver possibly consider that? If you realize they wouldn't, let's not offer it. And you can't possibly think they would swap him for Nurkic/Bridges.

Re: Trade offers for Jamal Murray
Yeah unless there's some reasonable explanation for how trading Murray makes Denver better, I don't see it happening.
Depending on how the draft goes I could see someone like San Antonio or Portland taking a swing on MPJ for some of their pricier non-essential vets (MPJ/Saric for Grant/Thybulle? MPJ for Barnes/Keldon?)
