Figured the lack of money around the league would lead to this, nice.

That’s what i’ve been saying. There’s barely any teams with cap space or the non tax payer MLE. And if they do have it they have bigger fish to fry. I think Mitchell’s deal will start off even lower then 12 with gradual increases. Every dollar counts this year. Next year it doesn’t matter.

3 years 8 mil per season is what I would shoot for we will be bidding with ourselves

If you go too low, player is most likely to bolt at first opportunity. 12 mil seems fair

It’s essentially what TJ McConell makes so it’s very fair.

They want the 10th pick so they can draft one. If we throw in Kelel Ware the deal gets done yesterday but that’s not the right move.

Wiggins, Rozier and a 2nd round pick PHX can use to draft a center. No KD extension either. Done deal.

I was just saying that there is a better chance of the Bam-AD combo happening at Dallas than here. So the hypothetical deal would be Bam + some assets for Flagg

Is there a low-ball offer that would get anyone to consider Beal or non-starter?

Non starter. Too much salary. Wait till he gets released next year.

Mind boggling that some in here think that Nico Harrison is going to let his hand picked Klutch guy in AD get traded to the Heat lol. Just hilarious. I do agree that Bam for Flagg has a better chance of happening but that’s not saying much either. No deals to be had with Dallas just dreams.

This is your franchise altering low risk high reward move that can let you retain your assets to add even more to the roster.

IF you send Ware for KD it better be all hands on deck asset wise to build a legitimate contender by rounding out the roster with good role players and putting another star next to KD/Bam.

I'd honestly trade Herro and Bam for Flagg if that's what it took. Mitchell, Flagg, Ware, Jovic, plus a lottery pick the next season to get a 2 guard sounds a lot better than everything else I've seen.

Not at all. And no room to make a significant acquisition after KD.

KD at that salary not coming here. It would take Bam or Herro going the other way and we all know that’s not happening

Sure it sounds good but what if you don't get that 2 guard..then what?

Although getting him for this proposal I think is a pipedream.

Maybe, I’m not opposed to adding a pick or Jaime and/or Jovic to get that done though if his value is relatively close to what they’re saying. That’s a gamble you take every time for a player like Zion. Dude gives you 25-7-5 a night on high efficiency effortlessly, it’s whether or not you can get him in the right shape and get him to shut out the outside nonsense. I think everyone outside of Heat fans would agree we’re probably the best place to get him to lock in
