HOU/BRK/PHX

Post#1 » by spankz141 » Tue Jun 3, 2025 3:51 pm

Houston In: Durant and Cam Johnson
Brooklyn In: Reed Sheppard, Jock Landale, 2027 Swap Removed and #29
Phoenix In: Jalen Green, Cam Whitmore, #10, #19, #27

Houston adds more offense and maintains most of their core.

Brooklyn gets a PG who they would have likely drafted the year before, control of their 2027 1st rounder and decrease their 2025 draft picks.

Phoenix gets a couple young players, 1 lottery pick and two additional picks in a decent draft which can be traded or kept.

Phoenix with Green, Beal and Booker all having the same position is a disaster.
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.

If Green can get flipped to a third team for something I’d be all in as a suns fan.

Your right...too many guards..so definitely like the idea of moving Green to another team. I don't watch the Suns much, but I would think Green would definitely be more productive than Beal.

Beal has an NTC and a huge contract. Pretty hard to count on moving Beal to make room for Green though.

Green seems like the kind of player the Nets might want to build around if his contract can be extended.

If the Nets are giving up their best player and two first rounders this seems a nit more fair for them.

Definitely can see Green going to Brooklyn. He is already extended for 3 years for close to $30million per year. I think there is a player option on the 3rd year.

Maybe the following...not sure if the salaries work. Maybe Brooks can be added for Royce O'neale.

Houston In: Durant, Royce O'Neale and Cam Johnson
Brooklyn In: Reed Sheppard, Jalen Green, 2027 Swap Removed and #29
Phoenix In: Dillion Brooks, Cam Whitmore, Jock Landale,, #10, #19, #27

Way too expensive, Houston doesn't need Cam, and Phx wants a center. Not moving Reed or the BK swaps in this deal.

Assuming a very reasonable extension number, send

Green, Jock and Holiday, #10 to BK
Claxton, CamW a couple late first from Bk to Phx
Durant to Houston

Give me FVV, Jabari Smith and #9 and #19 for Suns. Its a deal

This is actually a fair and realistic trade. It might make sense for all 3 teams.

No Jabari in any Durant deal

Makes no sense for Houston, we get absolutely wrecked.
