I was just saying that there is a better chance of the Bam-AD combo happening at Dallas than here. So the hypothetical deal would be Bam + some assets for Flagg

I'd honestly trade Herro and Bam for Flagg if that's what it took. Mitchell, Flagg, Ware, Jovic, plus a lottery pick the next season to get a 2 guard sounds a lot better than everything else I've seen.

What would be the motive to trade Flag?

Like I said it's likely a decision on Durant has already been made. Doubt this is an going discussion for 4 months.

Same as it was for Luka. Win-Now and “Defense wins championships”. He’s not going to get a better player than Bam to put next to AD.

Taking a flyer on Zion is the exact move we need to be making. Won't cost many assets and you potentially get one of most dominant PFs when healthy.

Doubt it happens though. Wouldn't surprise me to see him traded for a pack of Doritos, while we send away the farm for 37 YO KD lol.

Wouldn't be the first time Pat and Co. have passed up on talent due to 'off-court shenanigans' (see Bobby Portis, Kyrie Irving, etc.).

I can guarantee the Heat are not taking a player with rape allegations pending.

If the allegations are toothless and the price is right, why wouldnt they?

There's no price that's right unless he's released and they pick him up for free.

One of MANY red flags Beenie. Zion has not even shown the work ethics of Anthony Mason and Micheal Beasley, hell not even Whiteside.

They traded Luka because he wasn't taking he health seriously to give him the supermax. They attempted to win now but the Kyrie Injury and the winning the lotto changes everything. The priority should now shift to building the future for Flag. Mavs would be fools not to start the development and rebuild around Flag.

They are not trading Cooper for Bam lol Mavs fans would burn the stadium down if they did. And even if they were to, it would be for a player like Giannis not Bam

Maybe a tiny chance they move AD but that also unlikely. But in the event they do, it would have to be for a huge ransom.

A heat mavs trade is beyond the realm of possibility

The Pels will release Zion for the cap space before they take on anyone's junk. Zion got some character red flags going that the Heat won't touch him unless via a flyer if released with some sort of promise to stay with the program they have in store for him. If you think the Pels are going to take Rozier and some 2nd rd pick as the "Price is right" deal" your dreaming.

So you think they’d rather release him than take Rozier/Duncan and let’s say Jaime and/or a 1st?

I've been advocating for a Durant trade heavy but I just can't sign off on trading Ware for him. I could understand the Suns drawing a line in the sand in wanting Ware in order to keep him from going elsewhere but it just doesn't make sense for us to make that move. Also those thinking about secondary moves are kidding themselves. Taking on a contract like Durant's doesn't leave wiggle room for much else. The only way Durant works is with the formidable front line of Ware and Bam.

Teams really just don't want the negative media attention whether it's true or not. The Heat organization and front office for the most part pride themselves on high character. I understand there's some lower levels players to come across here that have had some character issues but for the most part they were low risk. Zion is too polarizing to take on right now. He's not good for business only in the fanatic basketball fan world is he even remotely a good idea to bring on.

Yeah it's almost 40 million off there cap sheet. Maybe they think about that first but you keep thinking that the Heat front office is going to be even remotely interested in bringing on the negative attention to there franchise which history suggest this is not something they would do. Until the suit is dropped it's going to be a dark cloud looming.

He’s an elite player with a potential low price tag part of which due to fake rape allegations that again are so fake that lawyers are even refusing to defend them lol. Like you said, we’ve brought in several players who have beaten their wives/girlfriends. These fake allegations will be gone and swept under the rug by the time training camp even starts. Hell maybe you can snag a Trey Murphy/Herb Jones out of this if we throw some decent assets in there.

I dont see where the Heat draw the line with this stuff, you can beat your woman all you want but don’t get accused of fake rape by some thot trying to get a handout? I wonder if when Ant ever becomes available if we’ll pass on him considering he’s lowkey a piece of **** person off the court
