Glad they are going back to the pinstripe look. They should have left the black uniform all black though. The top half looks weird.

New logo set is kinda generic.

Thibs seemed to have some of the same issues with finding out the right lineup like Doc has. Just wish the next Twitter update was Doc being fired.

He's not my first choice but I would feel better with Thibs than Doc.

Dude got the Knicks to their first Conference Finals in a quarter century when nobody thought they had any business making it that far. I'm simultaneously entertained and annoyed by all these good teams that have such a quick trigger on firing their coaches. All while we piss away Giannis' prime by hitching our wagon to another season of Doc **** Rivers.

No Thibs!
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I think it's hasty. Reminds me of the Buden firing, or worse cuz Mike had more yrs w/ his group. You could make critiques, but they have a reliable system, that consistently wins, & beyond that a championship could be achieved w/ better personnel, adjustments, & luck.

The personnel is still the biggest factor, imo. Hard to be a finalist w/ Towns & Brunson both as weak links defensively. Maybe Thibs could have played Mitch Robinson over KAT, instead of together. But that can't be expected in yr 1 or at all w/ the contract. So a KAT trade should have been 1st.

The hilarity of Doc leaving Milwaukee for the Knicks job would be amazing. Make it happen, basketball gods.

And right before the playoffs Knicks fans were pretty universally dismissing the idea that they were anything more than a 2nd round exit. Remember, they were like 17-24 vs. teams above .500.

It’s difficult to say they totally screwed up until we know the replacement. Thibs is a good coach but he’s not some elite top 3-5 coach a la Spo, Atkinson, etc. There is a world where they find some stud assistant coach who steps in and is awesome immediately like Udoka or Fernandez.

I will say it’s really not Thibs’ fault that Brunson and KAT **** suck on defense. Having your POA and center both being trash on defense is seriously tough and it burned them badly in the Pacers series.

Thibs here would break Giannis' body before the playoffs hit.

Have we entertained the notion that this "era of parity" is simply the result of no one valuing continuity/patience anymore?

KAT, coming off 2 injury filled years, played his most MPG since he was 22.

No because its actually the new cap rules almost exclusively and the knee jerk stuff like this is more of a symptom

The "new cap rules" have only been in effect the last year. We've had 7 different champions in the past 7-seasons.

We’ve had really good 1st round loss continuity lately.
