A lot of sets that we ran in 2nd and 1st quarters last season were plays that Thibs allowed Bryant to cook

The guy can coach

In the first video he's explaining the Cavs philosophy, not necessarily his own, though I'm sure he informs it somewhat. But Atkinson was brought in for being an offensive maximizer himself, so I have no idea where Kenny ends and Johnny begins.

Again, not trying to be antagonistic, but this video was speaking to what the Cavs did under Atkinson as a staff. There's nothing that Bryant establishes as an individual.

Thibs was credited as the architect of the Boston championship defense. Everyone knew what role he played.

Bryant has never been the credited architect of anything. Did Kenny come out and say that Bryant ran zone or transformed their offense? Thibs certainly never said anything like that.

Not saying he can't coach. Just saying that there is a lot of projection because none of it has been proven.

look at the mature measured take. our boy has grown. bring him back mods, i'm sure he'll thrive under these new rules.

I think based on the new rules, he can still threaten to shoot Wingo in the face as long as he doesn't keep typing it into different threads, and also provides a somewhat lengthy description of why doing it is a good idea.

As I've repeatedly expressed, it was very obvious to me he was getting fired.

Getting embarrassed in the ECF by an inferior team does not get you a pardon after all of the Tomfoolery that happened during the season and the lackluster coaching during the playoffs.

Dolan came down to the freaking locker room to tell Tom to play the bench for crying out loud... Huge red flag.

All of the warning signs were there. And as usual, I was right.

Now we have to trust Leon to get us the right coach for our guys. Get Spo over here somehow.

I think it would be healthier for the team if none of the player's parents were coaches. Eliminate any questions of special treatment or teammates afraid to speak out etc.

The ceiling was a top 4 team in the league and a bit of randomness away from being in the finals (where who knows what would happen). This was a complete miscarriage but we will see what happens next. Will Rick Brunson still be on the staff? Lots of questions....

Next year we would have been a legit chance at the #1 seed.

Man this team is stupid as ****. Thibs has done nothing but overachieve and now he's gone and the guy we want to replace him with mostly is Mike Malone who's a poor man's Thibs.

Basically everyone on the team besides Mikal has had their career year under Thibs, and even in the case of Mikal he was better than last season. Minnesota was at the top of the lottery shortly after dropping Thibs, Chicago been on the treadmill since dropping Thibs, I hope y'all ready for another drought now that he's gone.
