What coaches did Bryant learn under?

A lot of media folks don't watch in depth like fans like us do.

which is crazy because their job pays them to do it meanwhile we find time outside of work

Basically everyone on the team besides Mikal has had their career year under Thibs, and even in the case of Mikal he was better than last season. Minnesota was at the top of the lottery shortly after dropping Thibs, Chicago been on the treadmill since dropping Thibs, I hope y'all ready for another drought now that he's gone.

well the players allegedly are done with thibs so it was the players decision equally

So, he's angry, has great hair and a coke habit?

I guess that might mean a few more wins

The ceiling was a top 4 team in the league and a bit of randomness away from being in the finals (where who knows what would happen). This was a complete miscarriage but we will see what happens next. Will Rick Brunson still be on the staff? Lots of questions....

Next year we would have been a legit chance at the #1 seed.

This the funniest part to me y'all have him KAT the week of training camp, Mitch was out all year, and Thibs had to figure it out on the spot. Now he's fired and another coach has to basically go through all these growing pains again? We don't have a LeBron, a Giannis, a Jokic, etc. How are they expecting to win without at least a coach for continuity and creating a winning and stable franchise? Our floor being 37-45 was a big deal and now we're in limbo.

Johnnie Bryant doesn't pass the sniff test for me.

Shams and Leon both emphasized "championship" in their statements....

Hiring a guy with ZERO head coaching experience at any level does not line up with anything they've put out since they pulled the trigger on Thibs IMO but we'll see. Bryant has been well liked everywhere he's been so maybe some of the players pushed for him in the exit meetings.

What happens when you trade for punk bitches. Now our team bitchmade. I watched that choke that wasn't on Thibs other than him not benching those scrubs.

If the next coach doesn't reach the ECF next season with this same exact squad, do they then also get fired?

Hoping this turns into a Mark Jackson into Steve Kerr off-season for us.

Getting embarrassed in the ECF by an inferior team does not get you a pardon after all of the Tomfoolery that happened during the season and the lackluster coaching during the playoffs.

Dolan came down to the freaking locker room to tell Tom to play the bench for crying out loud... Huge red flag.

All of the warning signs were there. And as usual, I was right. 8-)

Now we have to trust Leon to get us the right coach for our guys. Get Spo over here somehow.

when was this?

Dolan said he asked Tom to play the bench more and dude told him no

They were talking about it when they featured Dolan on the "Roommates" show.

Also, there was a report that Dolan made a special trip into the locker room to endorse Huk..which obviously showed that Dolan expects him to play.

It doesn’t mean that at all. If anything it means that if the right deal is in place why wouldn’t he pull the trigger.
