The Hawks would be an interesting option for the Suns. Some good players/assets there.

This would be solid for us! As long as it's a package of something with:

1- Sign n trade of Capela.
2- Dyson Daniels or Jalen Johnson centric package.
3- the 13th (SAC 25' 1st) and 22nd picks ( LAL 25' 1st). That'd give us the 13th, 22nd and 29th picks, a starting center and a premium young wing forward!.

The more teams the better -- thats all I have to say
Granted, knowing Ishbia - he will still take the worst deal if the player being traded for has higher name recognition even if not the best fit next to Booker

Give us Vassell, Barnes and #2 and we should hop on that ASAP!!!!!!!

#2 Dylan Harper
Our pick Ryan Kalkbrenner - Creighton Center

Dylan Harper / Sign Veteran Min Westbrook
Booker / Beal
Vassell / Allen
Dunn / O'Neale
Richards / Steven Adams Veteran

I would love to watch that team hustle, and not be stuck watching KD lose

Spurs would have the best offer. Hawks have nothing to offer much like the Wolves.

The biggest trash offer I have ever seen. We are not giving up picks for KAT or Cam.

Second KD is worth more than those players and there are better offers.

The Suns damn well better tell them to turn it sideways and shove it up ...

KAT and Booker would be horrible
Plus giving up unprotected picks to move Beal - another bad move

I doubt hte Suns would get the 2nd pick but I would be listening :)

I would also see what I can do with Allen and O'Neale

I hope you hire someone else and that’s wishing Suns well , maybe Ishbia needs a Yes men , but Suns needs someone like Atkinson , Spo, Carlisle even Jordi , not Ott , Ott is going backwards

Yeah, but I wouldn't be surprised if they just wanted a yes man. But I don't think the Suns are going anywhere for quite some time no matter who is coach.

You must be stoked about the Pacers. We all wanted haliburton here in the draft (or most of us) not only because he was falling but bevcause we needed a PG of the future for years (we knew Paul was just at the tale end of his career and not our long term guy) but alas, we took Jalen Smith, who I guess you know well too.

A lot of us liked Toppin too. And wanted Siakam in trade.

Anyway, I've pulled for the Pacers in the east for years. I think they will obviously have a tough time with the Thunder was would anyone, but hope they put up a fight, I know the Pacers were one of the best teams in the league after they started 16-18 or whatever it was.

ETA - I just realized you are someone who has posted here before and is a Nets fan and likely just changed your logo to the Pacers for the finals (or playoffs)....oops....well my comments are still all true.

Yes bro I’m a Brooklyn Nets fan and only temporarily rooting for the Pacers :D

Knicks just fired Thibodeau
Interesting to see if they go after Durant

Could Durant, Brunson and Towns co-exist?

Oh, did Bliss pull out of our search too? I wouldn't be surprised if Quinn (and Bliss if he did) pulled out because the Knicks job opened up and/or they were contacted about it.

It makes sense for the Knicks to hire a coach more like Bliss who is used to working with a younger team. Now NY isn't super young but they have some young players and their core is still pretty young.

I don't see why they'd trade KAT for KD, though I don't know what their cap concerns may be. Or any of their players for KD. I don't think teams are typically nearly as antsy Ishbia is or as many here seem to believe a team that just started being a contender would kind of blow up a very solid pretty young nice core to throw a 37 year old KD into the mix.

I do think he would want to play there though. Minnesota makes a little more sense to me as a team wanting him because they likely would give up Randle, Reid and a pick...though I guess they can't if those guys opt out. Plus they are a small market that probably would be a bit more desperate.

Rumor had them wanting to get under the 2nd apron within the next two seasons to avoid having their pick frozen. And to be able to make significant roster alterations by the loaded 27' summer of free agency.

Now I'd do the trade for KD not to have him he here on our roster, but to rather move him to another team in the top 10 of the lottery. Maybe team like:

- Charlotte for Nurkic ( 19 million expiring)/ Green/ Salaun/ Smith Jr/ 4th pick/ DAL 27' 1st/ CHO 29' 1st/ 33rd pick.

- Washington for Smart/ Holmes/ Bey/ Johnson/ 6th pick/ 18th pick/ WAS 27' 1st/ WAS 29' 1st.

- Pels, KAT/ O'neale for Murray/ Jones/ Olynyk/ 7th pick/ NOP 28' 1st/ NOP 2030' 1st.

- Brooklyn ( KAT is from New Jersey) for the 8th pick? Or the 19th, 26th, 36th picks and a pick in 26' or 28'?

- Toronto ( if they miss out on Giannis) for Barrett/ Poetl/ Abaji/ 9th pick, 36th pick, TOR 27' 1st.

- Houston for D Brooks/ Sheppard/ J Smith Jr/ Landale/ 10th pick/ PHX 27' 1st/ 2 2nds?

- Chicago for the Vucevic/ Ball/ P Williams/ 12th pick/ POR 26' 1st/ CHI 28' 1st.

- Atlanta for Mann/ Daniels/ 13th pick/ 22nd pick/ ATL 29' 1st/ CLE 29' 2nd/ CLE 31' 2nd.

- San Antonio for Vassell/ Barnes/ Sochan/ 14th pick/ ATL 27' 1st/ MIN or DAL 2030 1st swap).
** Trade Vassell/ Richards to Brooklyn for Claxton/ 26th/ 36th picks. :dontknow:

I have been trying to tell people that there'll be multiple teams still interested in KD this summer, And not everyone can get a Giannis either. So we'll still score good value return just as long as Ishbia and Gregory don't totally
Screw things up?

This right here is important because it’s 100% true. And the end result will be just another coach fired taking yet another fall for Booker. Booker continues to escape any blame while his performance was lack luster this year to put it kindly.

I dunno man!
For the Hawks, I'd probably take T Mann/ J Johnson or D Daniels/ filler/ 13th pick/ 22nd pick/ ATL 29' 1st/ ATL 2031' 1st.

And for Minnesota, I'd probably take either package of
- Randle/ Di Vincenzo/ Dillingham/ Minott/ 17th pick/ 31st pick/ MIN 32'1st.
** Trade Dillingham for another player and picks. Randle would give us a $30 million expiring (to use towards 26 free agency), and then we could package either Allen/O'neale or Di Vincenzo/ O'neale for other players and picks.

Or
Gobert/ Di Vincenzo/ Dillingham/ filler/ 17th pick/ 31st pick/ MIN 32'1st.
** trade Dillingham for another player and picks. Gobert would give us a starting defensive center and we could then trade Allen or Di Vincenzo and keep the other.

I think they run it back unless they can get Giannis, and if I'm MIL there's not really anything that works for me on that team. Maybe KAT and Mikal I guess.

Raptors or a Texas team for Giannis I bet. Once that's done with then teams will go for KD.

Hope it is Raptors as that means HOU+SAS will be competing for KD with each other.

Return to Phoenix Suns
