The guy is a good coach and works hard but he has limitations that will never get him over the hump. Look at his resume. It speaks for itself. Just because he took a team that was going nowhere and made them respectable doesn't mean the team needs to be married to this dude forever.
Exactly. People need to stop acting like Thibs is some kind of supercoach, which he most certainly is not. Even the Knicks FO could see that he was not the right coach for the team going forward. The Knicks are right there, close to a championship, just need the right coach to take them there. Thibs and his out-of-date principles were not the answer here.
