Per coach Carlisle, Jarace Walker will miss minimum 2 games.

Good luck in the finals. It's nice that we're going to see a first time champ either way. I am pulling a bit for the Pacers, though my Canadian self has a soft spot for SGA and Dort.

Siakam though!

We were losing to the Warriors in 5 according to everyone.

Pacers flight to Oklahoma City couldnt land because of some storms, so they landed in Tulsa to refuel. But they finally landed in Oklahoma City.

I see the line for game 1 was Thunder -9 which makes sense because I remember a stat that the Thunder had beat their nba opponents by double digits an astounding number of times this regular season. I don’t bet but just wanted to see what Vegas was thinking as their dividing line of their bettors. Thunder bettors are not afraid of that many points and Pacer bettors are saying I’ll take those points.

Looking at the box scores from the two games this season both teams had injured players. The December meeting in Indy I remember the Pacers had a chance late in the game to win but they didn’t follow through.

So remembering that game the main thing I take from it is that Chet didn’t play so his effect is unknown. For the Pacers Nesmith was out. Mathurin had 18 as a starter, Tyrese had 4 points, and Walker had 12 points. Quite different from the normal lately. All the other Pacers were around their normal. It will be interesting to see who gains an advantage if any with Chet and Aaron available. I’m hoping that the coaching staff has a good enough game plan and the corrections if a backup plan is needed at halftime. I’m hoping our bench is up to the task ahead because OKC has a deep bench also. I’m hoping for a last second Pacer’s game 1 win.

I think the Pacers have been favorites only once since the Bucks series, and that was Game 3 vs the Knicks. Which they ended up losing. lol

Let’s steal one tonight and get the home court advantage.

Will say ahead of the broadcast just my opinion I can’t stand Doris Burke following the league narrative against the Pacers in the past. I hope she doesn’t make her rooting for the Thunder obvious tonight as she seems to always root for the favorites in games she calls.
