Jeannie Buss sold the Lakers for 10bil :o
I don't like it for the rest of the league, although they don't have any real assets. Somehow now i feel that someone is going to help them get a Giannis or Jokic to pair him with Luka.
Buss wasn't a good owner and that was good for the rest.

The Venn diagram of cars he fits in that are also capable of driving that fast has to be fairly small.

A few familiar names mentioned

https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6455565/2025/06/27/2025-nba-draft-pelicans-yang-hansen-nets/

The fact that Yang wasn’t the best player in the Chinese league should be an immediate red flag as a first-round candidate; this is a league where guys like Kenny Lofton Jr., Harry Giles, Tacko Fall and T.J. Leaf are just wrecking people night after night, and Yang was … solid. Good, even. But not dominant.

...

On Yang’s own team, NBA rejects Quinndary Weatherspoon and Jordan Mickey were the more valuable performers; Yang was the team’s third option.

Jabari Bird has played on some weird-sounding teams.

On September 26, 2024, Bird signed with the Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots* of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) to replace Rayvonte Rice as the team's import for the 2024 PBA Governors' Cup.

*Edit: Even better, check out some previous names for that team.

This article on the Celtics' 2nd-round pick history has too many inaccuracies.

That said, it reminds us they once scarfed up Ryan Gomes, Leon Powe and Big Baby Davis in three consecutive offseasons.
