Yet because it's the Knicks, and the media are like hyenas, they'll make the Knicks out as the same dysfunction when they have zero insider information. And they don't deserve it.

those guys didn't lead teams to the conference finals

I was thinking wow, $30 million was a lot for Dolan to be ok giving away. Then I read PHX owes Coach Bud $40million now

I wonder what the reason was for extending his contract early after knowing the roster was undergoing some significant changes.

Heh. What's weird to me is how all year all we heard about was Thibs limitations and how he's not a coach that can lead a team to a championship from the national media and now that we fire him it's a terrible idea and he was the only thing keeping the team together. It's all pretty transparent.

JVG can be Bryant's defensive assistant.

No way I want to see another season of boring ass JVG offense. It's not the 90s

we don't know how he'll coach offense now. that was a long time ago. and what do we know about bryant's offense anyway ?

As if JVG is going to change. Thibs didn't. They all come from the maniacal Riley tree.

Who's that?
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Macri truly sucks. He's smug and he's lame.

Dude is just a dunce who acts like he's a basketball savant.

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They wont blow this one...They are going to explore ALL options.
I said this through out the season. We need a coach who has a brillant offensive mind because this group is special.
Many of you will regret even thinking about trading Machine Mikal. Next year you will see the machine work.
OG just need to work on his offensive game and build confidence- he should do that this summer- LOOK OUT!
Brunson needs to modifiy his game a bit and close. You want to win chip Brunson or win the MVP? cant have both...
Hart- Ray Allen needs to become your mentor and big brother.
Deuce will blossum under the new coach.
Kat, needs a coach that will put him in more positions to succeed and get with Hakeem- you need to expand your moves on the block and lose
some weight.
Mitch, just keep getting better and maybe now you'll get to shoot some threes...work on that with Hart

Of course they had to throw a homophobic joke about KAT in at the end. Never fails. So unclever, tired and unfunny. Sorry brother but this ain't the one.

I trust BKE more than any of these reporters out there that are just throwing stuff at the wall and hoping something sticks. Leon ain’t playing around anymore. We’re all in, folks. Whatever it takes!

People wishing for JVG.

Might as well the Knicks kept Thibs then.

Get me a late first in this draft so Bryant and his staff can develop the next rotational piece. I’m looking at you, Walter Clayton or Ryan Kalkbrenner.

Yep. Looks like this was already decided. If not, why the rush to fire Thibs? I’d like to see a vet defensive coach on his staff if he’s hired
