You know Leon and Co usually like to keep everything within the family. Who are the coaches represented by CAA? One name I haven't seen mentioned is Monty Williams. CAA guy, took Phoenix to the finals a few years ago and is a respected coach.

So obvious if you actually watch the game and him just standing there. That's why he doesn't even know when to challenge or call time out. He doesn't coach

I don't understand why folks want old coaching when this team needs to modernize on both sides of the ball.

Might as well the Knicks kept Thibs then.

Nah they're different. JVG is much more adaptable and less rigid thinking than Thibs. I don't think they have the same faults.

After that debacle in Detroit? No.

He did not get along with the Front Office in Detroit and had a different vision. Doesn't mean his entire coaching history has to be tainted because of it.

Just surprised it happened this soon.
We cannot lose to same pacers 2 years in a row with better talents.
Even though this was greatest season in recent years, it was really frustrating to watch sometimes.
I hope we can take another leap next year.
I want Bryant or Budenholzer.
And I want papa Brunson gone too.

what did Rick Brunson do?

it's better for him. this is a rough job to take. you're supposed to take this team to the finals in year 1 or you're gonna be criticized.

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They wont blow this one...They are going to explore ALL options.
I said this through out the season. We need a coach who has a brillant offensive mind because this group is special.
Many of you will regret even thinking about trading Machine Mikal. Next year you will see the machine work.
OG just need to work on his offensive game and build confidence- he should do that this summer- LOOK OUT!
Brunson needs to modifiy his game a bit and close. You want to win chip Brunson or win the MVP? cant have both...
Hart- Ray Allen needs to become your mentor and big brother.
Deuce will blossum under the new coach.
Kat, needs a coach that will put him in more positions to succeed and get with Hakeem- you need to expand your moves on the block and lose
some weight.
Mitch, just keep getting better and maybe now you'll get to shoot some threes...work on that with Hart

I trust BKE more than any of these reporters out there that are just throwing stuff at the wall and hoping something sticks. Leon ain’t playing around anymore. We’re all in, folks. Whatever it takes!

I just cant wait to see all of the possibilities offensively...but yeah- Leon isn't playing around...

Yeah I think lot of people are claiming victory a tad too quickly

What coach out there will be confident enough to take a "NBA finals or bust" job?

The money will have to be insane. But then at that point, it can just be a paycheck and bounce/retirement kinda thing .

Maybe a bit off topic….but did anyone notice Thibs hands during his post press conferences during playoffs?….my wife and I noticed they were shaking in an odd way…like maybe he was starting to have health issues….nit sure that has anything to do with his firing…..just an observation

Exactly... dude had the most ridiculous rotations. Regardless of how they were playing... would rotate Ward/Childs like clockwork. Was just as stubborn

Macri truly sucks. He's smug and he's lame.

Yes. Macri, that's my nickname for him. You can LITERALLY TASTE THE SALT through the audio.

I don’t even know how he blew up; dood rambles on and on with the same bs and has 3 hour long podcasts based off emotion

I noticed that at the beginning of this season, and my coworker got courtside tickets during the regular season and also mentioned this as well. Hope he takes care of his health.
