No Wesley Johnson? :-?

He didn't actually harm or make the franchise worse. One of those guys I listed wasn't even a Wolves player lol.

He was drafted over DeMarcus Cousins. There was a time where that seemed like a much worse mistake.

I sure know that Batum was matched but for me, Wes Johnson was one of the most frustrating Wolves I have ever seen.

I was hooked, lined, and suckered into believing the Scottie Pippen 2.0 hype!

My favorite moment was after the draft when David Kahn was raving about his jumper. In the background was Wes bricking shot after shot in an empty gym...

Which Sam? Cassell or Mitchell? I'm guessing one has that nickname, but I don't know which. I'm guessing you meant Mitchell.

My worst basketball take ever was thinking that Wesley Johnson would be the second best player from the 2010 draft…..after Xavier Henry. I have no idea why but I was convinced Henry was going places.

1.Kevin Garnett
2.Anthony Edwards3
3.Karl-Anthony Towns
4.Jimmy Butler
5.Rudy Gobert
6.Kevin Love
7.Andrew Wiggins
8.Ricky Rubio
8.Stephon Marbury
9.Sam Cassell
10.Wally Szczerbiak

Think this would be a pretty accurate list, with the top five being LOCKS. Yes some would question the one season plus of Jimmy and how everything turned into a nightmare but he was the lead dog and the one that broke the 13 year streak of missing the playoffs and was the one to bring respect back to the franchise. That to me makes him one of the greatest Wolves players every.

Jimmy always gets all the credit for MIN getting back to the playoffs, when Towns had a far far better season.

For example, KAT was #2 in the NBA for Win Shares in 2017-18, and Jimmy was #20.

I was a huge supporter of Butler until he turned into a POS. Keep him far from any best Wolves list IMO.

I still remember when Butler got injured and we fell from 3rd to 8th, so we had to rush our recovery.

I tend to put the players who were the best players at sometime in their career on this list. That makes the first 7 pretty easy:

Kevin Garnett
Anthony Edwards
Chauncey Billups
Jimmy Butler
Derrick Rose
Kevin Love
Karl Anthony Towns

For the last 3, I am going to go with:

Brandon Roy
Rudy Gobert
AK 47

Honorable Mention: Conley, Cassell, Tayshaun Prince, Rubio, Pek, Laettner, JR Rider, Al Jefferson, Spreewell, Sam Mitchell, Tyrone Corbin, Terrell Brandon, Jaden McDaniels, Michael Williams, Szcerbiak

Harden was #1 that year, and won the MVP.
