Brooklyn - OKC - Orlando - Toronto - Phoenix

Post#1 » by Godaddycurse » Thu Jun 5, 2025 12:12 am

Combining the KD rumor and Brooklyn trading up rumor in one:

Brooklyn out: CamJ, 19, 36
Brooklyn in: Barrett, Howard, Dieng, 9

Toronto out: Ingram, Barrett, 9
Toronto in: Durant

OKC out: Joe, Dieng, 15
OKC in: CamJ, 36

Orlando out: Howard, Bitadze
Orlando in: Joe

Phoenix trade: KD
Phoenix receive: Ingram, Bitadze, 15, 19

Why for Brooklyn: consolidate for another lotto pick
Why for Toronto: get a big fish, free up MLE to address back up C
Why for OKC: upgrade forward rotation
Why for Orlando: upgrade shooting
Why for Phoenix: get a C, replacement all star caliber wing and some picks for cheap depth

I feel like Phoenix gets too good of a deal but wasn't sure whom they should send back value to...

OKC would be my biggest question mark here. No major value issues anywhere that I can see. They just seem the least likely to play their part for me. Do they see Johnson as enough of an upgrade to spend on? IDK.

If OKC win it all though they might not want to rock the boat as you said

That's a trade that I would be OK doing it for the Suns. A borderline All-Star SF, a decent starting C in his prime and two picks in the late teens.

Fair value for every team involved IMO.

Yes, from Orlando. Perfect fit/player/contract. It will suck to lose Goga as he’s often undervalued around these parts, but he would be a tremendous addition to Phoenix.
