Guys to target:
Trey Murphy
Naz Reid
Brook Lopez
Mark Williams
Cam Johnson
Melton
KD
Coby White
Brogdon
Bagley
If you can make a run at KD? Yes, you do it if he wants to come back.
Trey Murphy next to Steph? OMG. He's 6-8, unlimited range, and is also athletic.
I'd make KD and Murphy the top two priorities. Then, at center, I'd target Lopez or Williams, even though they're very different players, think either could help Warriors a ton.
Warriors need to make two moves -- get a starting center and a starting 2 guard. Be willing to trade picks and players. Almost every player should be on the block, including Draymond if that means getting KD.
If you told me Warriors just made two moves and those two moves meant getting Murphy & Lopez? That might be enough. Maybe you can get Melton back and he somehow stays healthy? You've really got something if that were to happen.

For what money we could get Naz? His market price around 20mln/y. Turner will get around 25/30mln.

Re: Wish list for next year
Murphy probably too expensive, but yeah, would be amazing, basically putting a young Klay Thompson next to Steph again.
Find a way to turn Kuminga, GP2, Hield, Moses, Loon, TJD, and picks/swaps (and Podz if needed but he can function well as a floater if he can find his shot again) into Murphy, Reid, a vet min big (Lopez?), and Melton, and we're looking pretty good.
Steph / Melton / Podz
Trey / Podz / Melton
Jimmy / ??? / Trey
Draymond / Santos / Naz / Jimmy
Naz / ??? / Post / Draymond
Requires some G-League/min filler, but really solid on both ends, inside and out. I would not want to defend that team.

Naz and Trey are keepers for MIN and NOLA. Why would Nola want to trade Trey for our assets?

Totally agree. That lineup would be pretty balanced. Reid at Center is undersized (he's more of a 4) but think with Draymond it would work. I actually think getting Reid is more unlikely than landing Murphy. It's why I'd reluctantly probably go for Lopez (as old as he is). He can still shoot. But if you can manage to add Reid & Murphy? The amazing part of that is both those guys are relatively young and you could have them for years AFTER Draymond & Steph retire.
You're going to have to give up some picks for Murphy but wouldn't it be worth it? You know how good he is. If he were on a really good team, he'd be untouchable. But the Pelicans are looking to shake things up and are open for business. It's kind of how the Celtics have been so successful getting really good players off bad teams (Derrick White, Porzingis, et al). In fact, if Murphy is traded to another team for somewhat modest package? Warrior fans should be VERY upset because he's exactly what the Warriors need and would be a perfect fit next to Steph.

If Nola wants to shake things up, they have plenty to work with (Zion, Murray, McCollum)

So if he let himself get swayed into drafting him, that’s Bob.
By all accounts, fault lies with Lacob and his sons. The entire episode (including the senseless hype directed at Wiseman from various knuckleheads) was repulsive and indicative of why owners need to occupy themselves with paying bills and staying the hell out of the draft room. Given his druthers, I can't help but think that Kerr would have preferred Haliburton. Even at the time, the wiser among us advocated for trading down to accomplish that end. One of the all time NBA draft eff ups that continues to have ramifications to this day. Oh well. Light years, right.

How many 1sts would you be willing to give up for Murphy? 2? 3? I think 3 is too expensive while 2 may not be enough. I think Murphy might be the high end version of Cam Johnson, who can be gotten for 2 for sure. But Murphy is really injury prone. The issue is that I'm not sure either Cam J or Trey should be our poa defender having to guard the best offensive player every night if they start at the 2, think that would take away their legs and their shot and kind of a waste of their talents. I would probably rather start something like Curry/Moody/Cam or Trey/Jimmy/Dray but Dray really shouldn't be starting but should be closing there. TBH how much better is Cam or Trey than Buddy? Do we really want to spend the rest of our assets to improve on Buddy?
Naz is an upgrade on Post, but is still terrible on defense. I'm not really sure I'd want to spend assets on that upgrade either tbh. I do like the Jaylin Williams idea someone put out and he's probably looking at the full NTMLE.

Jester, your quoting skills rival that of a Fox New contributor.
On the afternoon of 12/26/2020 (after watching Wiseman's first pro game), I wrote this about Wiseman...

Yup. After watching Wiseman's first and second pro games, I briefly dismissed my initial concerns regarding him. And then, four days later, after watching Wiseman's third and fourth pro games, I firmly settled on the guy I would thereafter repeatedly comp him to...Jahlil Okafor - specifically because of the defensive lapses. Looking back this was a spot on assessment.
Meanwhile, three and four months further into Wiseman's career, you were comparing Wiseman to Kevin Garnett, David Robinson, Joel Embiid and Chris Bosh and blaming Kerr for Wiseman's failure to thrive.

However, even if all three were true, this didn't mutually exclude the possibility of Wiseman being the right guy for the Warriors. In hindsight, I think we should all be happy that Myers made the right call and didn't trade out of the #2 spot.

Wiseman is literally better than Bosh at basically everything at the same age, with significantly less professional experience. I for one hope we trade him somewhere with a coach who isn't ass at player development so he can thrive.

yeah I said wiseman numbers were comparable to kg and bosh first half of his rookie year when he was playing well. that's accurate. none of them were good players at 19, and he averaged similar numbers.

mate you spend your days in your retirement home creeping people's profiles and sending boomer memes. I made a comment agreeing with you and you still decided to go full incel and come after me because of your mental problems... and then I exposed you so you went crying backwards again

Take a big breath. Calm down. Nobody is "coming after you." Whatever paranoia you are currently experiencing is likely as fleeting as your opinions on most anything.
