I don't think he is a two-way guy. Summer league invite.

Could see the Wizards sniping Penda at 18 to add to there French connection. I saw that Penda used to be a team mate of Bilal Coulibaly

Zeke Mayo has shownup on hoopshype as a player that has worked out for Heat
6’4 JayHawk Senior jump shooter
14.6 pts, 4.8 rbs, 2.9 ast, 42.2 3p%, 6.2 3pa
Known for being a great shot maker, Mayo can create for himself and score from all three levels. He's a quality 3-point shooter on high volume, but also has a reliable mid-range game and can finish at the rim. Mayo is an elite free throw shooter as well. He also has upside as a passer with the ability to facilitate the offense and set the table for his teammates, notching a near 20% assist rate over his past two seasons.
The 6-foot-4 guard is a solid positional rebounder and the type of player that has triple-double upside as he typically leads the Jackrabbits in points, rebounds and assists. With that in mind, what's been most impressive about Mayo's play this season has been the increase in efficiency. He's been able to maintain his scoring output on fewer shots due to shooting a higher clip from nearly everywhere on the floor.
Mayo is also a peaky defender who is disruptive on that end and can make plays. Given all of the things he's able to do on the court, it's clear he has the upside to be worth a first-round pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.
Mayo grew up in Lawrence, KS and emerged as one of the best players in the entire state. He followed in the footsteps of his father Reggie, who played basketball at Dodge City (Kansas) Community College as well as Tennessee Tech. Now, he has the chance to make his way to the NBA and be a high impact guard at the highest level.

Mentions Rasheer not handling the draft process well. Anyone got ears on that?

However, there are concerns. His scoring tapered off late in the year, raising questions about consistency and stamina, and his stats came against Atlantic 10 competition — leaving some scouts skeptical about his NBA translation. League sources also note he’s shown up to some workouts out of shape and hasn’t handled the pre-draft process professionally. Still, if the shot holds and his approach matures, Fleming has real two-way upside and could prove to be a steal.
No way we're touching a role player with character issues. He's not the guy you risk it for.

Good list Rex. One of these guys will be there at 20. Will be happy with any of the 3. All solid upside guards.

Re: **NBA Draft Discussion 2025**
I don’t see us going after Rasheer Fleming. I think we’ll try and sign a vet Center and development big prospect. Most likely sign Jovic to extension and continue to develop Keshad Johnson. Front court looks like a strength right now. Kyle Anderson needs to be traded
Current front court rotation
C Ware
PF Bam PF Jovic PF Keshad Johnson
Vets
C/PF Kevin Love
PF Kyle Anderson
Continue to develop the 3 big rotation of Ware, Bam, and Jovic while sprinkling in KJ. Unless you want Niko gone i don’t see how Fleming fits into the equation. And don’t give me the Jovic at SF sell either lol.
Current wing and guard rotation
SF Wiggins SF JJJ SF Highsmith
SG Herro SG Larrson
PG Terry Rozier
*PG Davion Mitchell RFA
*SG Duncan Robinson (Partial guarantee 9.8 mi of 19.8 contract)
The wing and guard rotation needs serious help. Larrson and JJJ are not good enough shooters to lead the bench together. Even with resigning Mitchell there’s no way we can go in next year with just Rozier again as backup. Desperate need for scorers and 3 point shooting.

Still have a lot of belief that Keshad Johnson will turn into a reliable bench presence for us. I think he could play in any variation front court lineup with the current trio.

Yeah if this was 2-3 years ago when we were going deep in the playoffs I'd be all for Fleming or Coward. Slotting right into the PJ Tucker/Jae Crowder/Highsmith role with 3 pointers ready out the gate. Now? We desperately need a guy with creation and plamaking upside. Someone to replace Rozier and get attention off Herro finally
