I would actually like to see the old ESPN analyst combo of JVG and Mark Jackson at the helm. They could work well together and I think Mark deserves another shot at coaching

Is it because of the domestic violence?

He's an ass hole for more than a few reasons but not basketball related so I'll leave it at that

You have to ask yourself why Mark hasn't had a job in the NBA since he got fired from Golden State.

I'd love that. We could plant him in MSG and make and make it into an Herb Garden.

Stefan Bondy of the New York Post said, "Two random names I heard recently for the Knicks job are Mike Brown (currently unemployed) and Luke Walton (lead assistant in Detroit)."

do you have any concerns about why he was fired from Milwaukee?

No. He didn't do anything wrong to be fired imo. Just ran into a red hot Playoff Jimmy who went out of his mind in the 1st round after a 58 win season. As can be seen throughout the league, there is no loyalty anymore when it comes to coaches. Milwaukee went for the shiny new toy with Griffin until Doc weasled his way in.

He was going to be fired the year before if he didn't win the title. They felt that he was too defensively rigid (committed to drop coverage even when it didn't make sense), never adapted to the opponent, poor clock management, and reportedly lost the trust of Giannis.

Sounds almost like you're describing a former Knicks coach whose name escapes me. Thibs?

Mark would be a better coach in terms of connecting with the players especially from a development standpoint. Which is why I pegged him to be an asst under JVG

Is Jason Kidd's son going to be at the games?

The funny part is, that was where I realized that Kidd can actually coach.

He took Billy King's mess and carved out a team that for half a season had an identity predicated on turning teams over, threes, and feeding Iso Joe in the post.

Kidd knows what he's doing, he identifies what his players can do best and uses it to his advantage. Is he as modern thinking as Bryant? I can't answer that. But he does have the chops and he's not afraid to think outside of the box.

if its Kidd and it brings in Giannis im 100% on board go out there and win a championship. If its just Kidd im indifferent to the hire, new voice, has a good relationship with your star and has had success leading a team to the finals. Would certainly not be the worst hire

That kid, now a young man, absolutely despises his father.

Why that is, I don't know. But Jason Kidd is a very complicated person.

Basketball wise? Greatness.

Can't speak on the rest.
