he's a players coach. a relationship guy. the opposite of thibs in that way. if you want a brilliant tactician he's probably not your guy.

So are we convinced its Johnny or is Kidd now a real darkhorse?

I dont think anyone is convinced but some of us have our hopes that its Johnnie-
not sure how many want Kidd...I know some want Kidd if he equals Giannis...

This would be great. Back up the brinks to make it happen. Though something tells me Dolan's ego won't allow it...

Would JVG do that to Thibs tho?
As Knicks fans, that's the best we can hope for of course.

Bryant
Billups
Kidd
Lue
Vogel

Brunson, KAT, Anunoby, Mitch and McBride would thrive will all those... Bridges and Hart doubt it a lot

Personality wise I would want either Bryant or Billups... Lue and Vogel can get the most of our roster... Kidd is something in between

That's kinda foul.

I remember Marv Albert getting caught wearing women's underwear and still got back in the booth! but I digress

His offensive scheme is figure it out and play, utilize your best player and let them run the engine.

His defensive scheme:

Aight man with the names being thrown out left and right I think I’d rather have just kept thibs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seeing Mike brown and the Luke Walton’s of the worlds names being mentioned is extremely disheartening!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think we should all remember that the Knicks are a buttoned up organization these days. Whatever rumors we are reading is not a reflection of who is actually being considered. I'm still team Leon, it was time for a change and I expect he picks the best candidate.

The next coach was already in place and low key hired verbally before they fired Thibs. The Knicks and this individual have an agreement to not release the info for a while, so it doesn't look like the new guy stabbed Thibs in the back. Leon isn't firing Thibs without someone better lined up.

point heard, but i don't like those low character coaches either.

for all the thibslamic basketball good ime could bring, i don't really want him around for those same reasons.

not a kidd fan for similar reasons.

not necessarily either/or and mutually exclusive concepts for some of us. mark jackson represents a different kind of inappropriate to me.

The only remotely logical trade is KAT for Giannis, and why...

that could be lit. or at least an associate HC with some experience he could lean on his first time in the big chair.
