Are we at risk of a 3rd straight underwhelming NBA finals?

Think it depends on the quality of the games more so then length. If we have exciting and close games I could be happy with a 5 games series

What can I say, I'm a basketball fan on a basketball forum, yes i hate the NBA but love the NCAA and FIBA, and others still, and pine for the NBA to actually be good again

If it's a sweep or blowouts, that means one team was playing really good ball that I would want to see.

I really don't care what happens. It's ball, and ball is life.

So if I understand correctly, its only entertaining if the Pacers, the unexpected team wins. If OKC, the expected team wins, than it’s underwhelming. And it’s not just your post, it seems like this is the shared thought among the last posts.

Its amazing how much people hate juggernauts, when they used to love them in the 80s and 90s. People keep wondering when the next dynasty will happen but I guarantee you it’ll immediately turn to hate for that team the moment it happens. Hell the Thunders are only assumed to be at the beginning stage of what could turn into a dynasty and people have already turned on them lol. You can’t make this up, we are by far in the most “its cool to be hateful” time in history lol.
