We have seen Green in the playoffs and he has been terrible at best.

Rockets want to dump him and I don't think he is a good prospect.

For me - Green would have to be a part of a bigger deal -- 3+ team -- with Booker, they don't need Green. Vessell doesn't even make a lot of sense. For sure Green does

This is where I’m at. Green has little to no value to Phoenix, nor does Vassell. They play the same position and neither is on a particularly good contract - we would look to move either of those guys to a third team anyway. So if it comes down to a package headlined by Green/Smith/10 or Vassell/Barnes/14 why would anyone prefer the latter?

If I could flip Green for a decent enough prospect, the Houston deal is better. As Smith makes more sense than Vessell. 10 is obviously better than 14. So it comes down to , what can you get for Vessel or Green

But I don't think a Green deal can happen until post July 1 when his salary kicks in

Maybe get the Nets to send Claxton to the Suns and Cam to the Rockets.

Okay - let me play this out:
Houston: Durant
Suns: Green, Jabari and 2025 10th pick

Brooklyn: Jalen Green
Houston: Cam Johnson and Royce (to make the math work
Suns: Claxton and filler to make the math work
If Houston throws in a FRP that works - to Brooklyn I mean
Suns would get Jabari, Claxton and a pick for Durant

Spurs/Rockets/Wolves/Knicks/Heat/Clippers are all interested in trading for KD per Gambo.

sometimes “the best” isn’t always the best fit. I do not want another SG on this team making big money, it doesn’t make sense.

OG/Mitch Rob for KD is pretty good, but both guys are basically locks to miss extended stretches with injuries.

Giving them KD pretty much make them a sure fire contender assuming Wemby is healthy. If Spurs want KD and a championship run... they pay.
castle AND draft picks is too much. If they even considered it which they probably won’t it would be castle and fillers, doubt we would get any draft picks on top.

What exactly do you think is a best fit package for KD?

What exactly do you think is a best fit package for KD?
something that fills a position of need and draft picks if possible.

Which team from above can provide the best fit?

I agree the player should fill need but don’t take a much lesser player just to check a box like Center or even PG

Six teams on Durant - interesting

Yep! Solid trade but not are injury prone

Bridges is healthier but OG is more a true 4

Arenas is an idiot and not worth listening to in any facet. Great scorer but his Hibachi peak was like 3 seasons long, got past the 1st round once, became one of the highest paid players in the league and torpedoed his own career after trying to out-thug an actual criminal by bringing guns into the locker room. The guy has no relevance nor credibility in my books

Read on Twitter

This is an example of why Booker should not be off-limits if there is a trade that makes sense. Not saying this makes sense just more that the phone lines should be open just in case.

makes no sense whatsoever. Book can net us good picks and players. PG himself would cost the Sixers the #3 pick for them move him so it's essentially Book for 2 picks and a swap.

I don't like the NY offer. I don't trust OG to stay healthy and neither Mitch's health but ay least he's a $13m expiring. I also don't think the Knicks draft capital is that enticing either. They own their two picks in 2026 and 2030 and a bunch of 2nd rounders between then but while the 2 picks and 2nds are cool, I just don't love the players coming back.

Nah. KD is still elite. He can literally play like prime Dirk in the next 3 years since he's so tall and skilled

Cheap offers should be rejected.

KD stats literally show he is a top 15 player.

Nah, I get that man. Still a funny comment to me though. Something like what a couple of school kids would say to another on the playground if they were in 2nd grade or something.
