JDub has been a pretty suspect 2nd option.

56-39 rebounds to Pacers, Bill right to point out . Going small ended up costing OKC in that aspect. hali with 10 rebounds is big in that way when people say he had a "bad game" , this will do wonders for killing off any nerves going forward

Tomorrow analysts are going to dissect this and say this or that. There was only one thing here. Pacers made their shots when they needed it most. The entire team is clutch.

That's coaching though. Carlisle and the staff found something with Nembhard getting downhill because he was willing to match the physicality of Dort, Caruso and Wallace. Nembhard's toughness on both ends really changed the game. That and Toppin splashing 3's.

From a team standpoint, it's actually great to have a team that has the players to take your primary ball handler off the ball and you can still be effective, any have a primary ball handler who is useful off the ball.

Many teams have failed to do as well as they could because if the primary guy is being over pressured they just can't support well enough.

Nembhard had "no-no-no, yes!" to some of his work down the stretch as well. I did not think he had it in him. Dude's offense hasn't shown up in the playoffs (his defense has been incredible though)

They don’t run anything for Chet. They barely have an offense. It’s just entirely reliant on SGA iso and hacking guys into turnovers and scoring off it

Chet is just running, setting screens, and defending. They run more through iHart than they do Chet.

Chet was great in the WCF because they actual ran their usual stuff.

OKC went full hero mode which worked in the first half but not the second when the game opened up to Pacers outright advantage.

I look to the guy at the helm making the decisions. It's obvious coaching still matters alot.

Chet's numbers in the WCF are deceptive, because almost all of his big scoring outbursts were with Gobert on the bench. Naz Reid and Randle weren't being a deterrent at the rim at all. Well, Indiana is at least going to challenge him at the rim, even if Turner is on the bench.

Pacers have much more experience playing close games. We never lose confidence.

You were saying? :D

So this is not on there star missing the most important shot of the game and Haliburton draining it.

If Shai makes the shot it is over.

Once that Turner banked in three went in, game was basically over. How often does a points from god shot that late in a close game not result in a W?
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

I get that but he wasn't really involved until the last 10 seconds because he was not playing that well. I'm just saying he has to be better and I am sure he will be.
