Chet is just running, setting screens, and defending. They run more through iHart than they do Chet.

Chet was great in the WCF because they actual ran their usual stuff.

OKC went full hero mode which worked in the first half but not the second when the game opened up to Pacers outright advantage.

I look to the guy at the helm making the decisions. It's obvious coaching still matters alot.

Chet's numbers in the WCF are deceptive, because almost all of his big scoring outbursts were with Gobert on the bench. Naz Reid and Randle weren't being a deterrent at the rim at all. Well, Indiana is at least going to challenge him at the rim, even if Turner is on the bench.

But the thing that's most important as is the methodology not the outcome. For all of SGA/JDUB positives and there's a ton they both have mad tunnel vision.

Said before say it again OKC true offensive ceiling lies with Chet. Consistent in the reg and play-offs
with OKCs high end totals

I expect changes in game 2 OKC can play super fast too but in an art of war scenario it's stupid to give your opponent its main weapons of attack

I don't think he'll have a glamorous outing this in the Finals with more grind but more involvement is necessary the coach has to realise this. He provides the spacing outlet and got looked off on a number of occasions which is bad and not like OKC at all.

Lopez/Zingis/Horford had a common denominator which ironically was the Celtics and Bucks biggest issue on ball facilitating.

Both SGA and JDUB need to learn this as well, they don't have a Holiday but they also don't have a let down in Smart.

Pacers are good and anyone who was saying otherwise was wrong.

But this is also how the Denver series started.

Lane violation worst call of the night for sure.

Holmgren and Dub have to be very good. If not, Thunder will lose again. It can't be SGA vs. Indiana.

Pet the cats now bro , no time for anxiety, Pacers won :D

Knicks fans seem mad the Pacers won, especially with the Hali match winning shot.

Feels like Celtics and Nets fans also won big tonight lol

The man is great.
Carlisle wasn't the coach in 2000... Larry bird was.

I am starting to believe that he was the man behind the curtain.

I mean he was the lead assistant for Larry Bird, it's not like he wasn't involved.

You have to love teams that never quit.

Look at the Pacers and their roster construction.

It's remarkable stuff especially for a small market teams.

They have plenty of cap space and assets (picks/young players etc) to get better too.

Indy is what franchises like Charlotte/Portland should aspire to be.

With POR it might be possible but I don't like the "culture" or lack thereof in CHA.

So this is not on there star missing the most important shot of the game and Haliburton draining it.

If Shai makes the shot it is over.

OkC is a great team with great defense and will probably still win, but i think they would benefit of trading one of Jdub or Chet ( with picks) for a true number 2. SGA is great but okc lacks a reliable second scorer on the playoffs. Imagine if you could swap Holmgren( and picks) for Giannis? It would be a dynasty. Chet white chocolate aint it, hes just a roleplayer..
