We traded him for 2 seconds that will not convey until 2028 and 2029, just horrible misuse of assets, same with Grimes.

All those who kept saying ihart this ihart that. His defense sucked in the playoffs. If mitch didn't play in those 1st couple of games against 76ers the outcome might've been different

His defense looks better now bc of his surrounding players

The Pacers are arsonists expecting to be caught by this point. But the NBA has no competent firefighter.

Another reason Thibs deserved to be fired… he couldn’t incorporate Grimes or Obi properly so we had to give them away.

I blame Thibs, he didn't like either, and allowing someone like him to make decisions on players was yet another stupid move. All anyone had to do is look at what he did when he ran the Wolves, and should have kept him far far away from roster decisions.

Anyone calling him a fraud at this point is a clown.

I dont call him a fraud for that reason. He is a fraud because hes a frontrunner. He only runs his mouth after the fact. Thats why I call him a fraud.
He can make big shots. But he's NOT an all nba player which would mean he's top 15 in the league.

if we just did what needed to be done by all star break instead of waiting til after playoffs there's no reason we couldn't win the chip THIS year. front office botched this big time

Obi got the last laugh against Thibs and then was instrumental in his team’s Game 1 comeback in the NBA Finals.

It's crazy we drafted Obi over Haliburton and they have em both.

They did a phenomenal job of finding lottery guys other teams were giving up on, Nesmith was the 14th pick in 2020 by the Celtics.

Speaking of ex-Knicks, I thought he didn’t play Hartenstein enough.

Indy with six guys in double figures, none over 20. They share the ball.

In contrast, OKC is leaning more on the production of one player.

Obi a sniper.

I should hate the idea of Indy winning, but that doesn't make rooting for OKC enjoyable. I actually kind of dislike OKC even more so basically don't care who wins.

Run the offense through him in the post/below the free throw line to force double-teams.

I hate Indy winning it too, but I gotta admit I think its good for basketball. Starphucking is down and Team play is back.

Obi is the only bench player that gave Thibs a piece of his mind about not playing the bench and his coaching style.

Carlisle really squeezing everything out of his team, that's what I want for the Knicks getting the best out of each player.

Return to New York Knicks
