Aren't Booker and KAT tight? Thought they'd be all over bringing them together, especially if it means you're trading a 37 year old disgruntled player.
I'm not the biggest KAT fan but he's taking unnecessary slander after having a pretty damn great season. His teams have gone to the conference finals in back to back years and he's been a big part of both runs.

They want trade flexibility. Hard to do that if you get KAT. You’ll be stuck in the 2nd apron again and that’s basically a franchise suicide for the Suns.
I reckon they just want their picks back and to have trade flexibility for the next 2 years in an ideal world.

Let's say Giannis doesn't work out. KAT would actually be a really good fit next to Scottie in terms of spacing/offence. The defence is a major issue though with KAT. Does SB's help side /off ball defence make up for some of it?
Knicks were 13th in defensive rating. Granted they had OG, Hart, and Bridges who are all viewed as + defenders
What would a realistic trade be for Kat to Raptors?

It'd have to be some sort of 3 team trade I'd guess with RJ going to the third team. Real rough outline of a trade with SAS NY and TOR
TOR sends out:
RJ
Poetl
Dick
(whatever picks are needed)
TOR receives:
KAT
NY sends out:
KAT
NY receives:
Poelt
Keldon Johnson
Dick
Picks
SAS Sends out:
Keldon Johnson
SAS Receives:
RJ Barreet

I think...I hate this.
Zeno wrote:Personally, I think people are underestimating how good KAT is and how much better he’d be in Darko’s system than on the Knicks under Thibs or in Minnesota. The question is, whether Scottie is a good enough defender to cover for KAT on the backside. He is better than OG as a defender in that regard. The problem is really about salary matching for me. RJ, Yak, only gets to 46 million. Towns is just too expensive. But he is way better than people here seem to think.
