Also, Lu Dort being allowed to get away with the crap he does is embarrassing for the NBA. He routinely gets away with BS that wouldn't fly in football let alone basketball. It's like if we just sent Thanasis out there as a starter for multiple seasons in a row and just had him run into offensive players, push them over, tackle guys til he fouled out...and then the refs just decided to collectively not call him for fouls anymore like they got tired of it.
Idk, watching Dort run away from the guy he was guarding to run into Siakam and draw an offensive foul was pretty hilarious to watch. Embarrassing, sure, but the reaction time in the heat of the moment to do that was very impressive.

Not having any finals logos on the floor is easily one of the worst small changes the league has made over the last few years. The jerseys used to have a trophy patch on the front too but that’s also changed recently.

Yeah, I miss those. I vividly remember some of those Kobe series or Spurs series that featured those on the courts and jerseys

In that case, Bucks won the meaningful Cup.

Side of the backboard? No, a banked in 3 by Turner.

That may have been the ugliest 3pm in finals history. You could see it was off by a lot after like 3 feet from leaving Turner's hands. I just figured the lucky mfers would get the long rebound but nope it went in LOL.

I don't think OKC chokes it away. I feel they are smart and learned from game one vs Denver. But I'm not dumb enough to rule out a comeback.

Wasn't really watching last night, but was checking the score. About 7 or 8 minutes left in the fourth and I saw Indiana was down... 12? 8?.... I forget the exact amount, but either way my immediate thought was that I had better turn it on because Indiana had OKC right where they want them and were about to pull off another upset.

My son didn't watch the entire game and just waited for the fourth quarter because he knew OKC would be up and Indy would make a run.

Gossip is they want Kidd/Giannis.

I don't see the match. They aren't trading Brunson and nothing else on their team is worth it. They don't own any picks to trade except low firsts at best.

Not sure what you mean here.

OKC is going to kick the **** out of Indiana. Imo.

The ratings don't really matter when the league just signed another massive TV deal

I stream illegally year round. The quality is still usually awesome. I know I'm not the only one. Low ratings on ABC, when you can get it with an antenna, is a little alarming, I suppose. I'd bet they go up for game 2, casuals thought Pacers had no shot.

Undoing decades of telling fans that small market teams are worthless and only good for feeding their talent to big markets is going to take a long time to unwind. It also likely requires unpairing yourself from ESPN as a primary broadcast partner since they're the entity driving the first point with every ounce of their existence
